I heard last year that there was going to be a new Saved By the Bell series coming to TNBC? Does anyone know what happened? Is there going to be a new SBTB series or not?

NBC will not bring back another form of SBTB. The show was cancelled and will not be brought back whatsoever. At least, that's what NBC says.

Thank God they ended that show! They have recycled the show so much its not even funny. "Good Morning Miss Bliss","Saved by the bell" "Saved by the Bell:the college years" and Saved by the Bell:The new class" First it aired on Disney, then NBC. After 7 years, it wasn't really a new class now was it?

Yes it did air on Disney from November 1988 to early 1989. I used to watch it when I was a kid.

It's amazing how long SBTB coasted on the intial seasons' fame. The series got to be so repetitive and so predictable after the first few years-and the New Class did nothing for me.

Wrong setting for the New Class. It should be in low public high school which is neither Bayside nor Valley types of public high schools at all.

Did you all noticed that the entire Saved By The Bell New Class crewmember group may have also been drugged?

1.) Many of you were seriously concerned that the lines were badly written. But along the way, all badly-written lines were intolerably both banned and forbidden to get resolved by the entire Saved By The Bell public due to complaints about recycled plots in entire Bayside-Valley High School setting area.

2.) Some of you think Screech's voice went too annoying. Meanwhile, I was mentioning that they're trying to make his voice realistic, but they may have made it too strong. But now, one of you mentioned that his voice is drugged. So that means, that crewmember group may have both gotten drugged and also made Screech's voice too drugged at the same time.

Nothing else, that's all, TBH, IMO.

What really surprises the hell out of me is that "SBTB: The New Class" managed to drag on for seven interminable seasons (from 1993 to 2000) on NBC's TNBC block on Saturday mornings, despite the frequent--and completely unneccessary--cast changes. How NBC mustered up the courage to renew "SBTB: The New Class" season after season (despite being vastly inferior to its predecessor) is beyond me.

It's been a long time since I've seen The New Class (outside of reading the reviews of episodes on the Saved by the Bell Reviewed (http://www.savedbythebellreviewed.com/2017/01/09/saved-by-the-bell-the-new-class-reviewed/) blog), but for whatever the reasons, it didn't exactly have the charm of its predecessor. It think that one reason (and the aforementioned blog also touches upon it) The New Class isn't brought up much quite fondly, is that it really didn't have much of a real identity (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!searchin/alt.tv.saved-bell/saved$20by$20the$20bell$20the$20new$20class%7Csort:date/alt.tv.saved-bell/YbN_-q4Bv2s/Ojg5lD_aZxoJ). The ever revolving cast (https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/alt.tv.saved-bell/iLlNlVqS_S4) of course didn't help.
