Good Morning Miss Bliss was the original title of the show, which featured Haley Mills as schoolteacher Miss Bliss. Her pupils included Zack,Screech and Lisa.Episodes from this were shown as Flashback episodes on the first season of Saved By The Bell,so maybe you did see episodes of this show.

The theme song was different. It was called "The best of Times" I was around 10 at the time. I watched it on Satuday nights at 5:30 on the Disney Channel. The Miss Bliss episode of SBTB we see were the Miss Bliss original shows. I remember seeing the epiodes about Ms Bliss dating Zack's father,Zack lying to a girl about his age and the rock singer Stevie coming to perform at the school. I would love to obtain a copy of the song.

GMMB was a prime-time show on Disney channel in 1987 for a short period of time. Then NBC picked it up and changed the name to Saved By The Bell. They kept all of the GMMB characters, and the show was like GMMB for a short period of time. Then they dropped Nicki, Mikey, Miss Bliss, Mylo, and all the extra teachers and kept Mr. B., Zack, Lisa, and Screech. Then they added 3 new characters, Kelly Kapowski, AC Slater, and Jessie Spano. Then in 1991, Jessie and Kelly filmed their last episode, (gradutaion) and left the show. In 1992 they added the Tori character in place of Jessie+ Kelly and continued SBTB. In 1993 SBTB: The College Years started, where it all started to go downhill (my opinon) Kelly returned for The College Years, and Zack, Slater, and Screech stayed, while Lisa and Tori left. They then added characters Mike, Alex, and Leslie. That only lasted one season, untill 1993. Then in 1994 NBC created a new series, Saved By The Bell: The New Class. Screech was in it, who was supposed to be Mr. Belding's assistent. Mr. Belding was also in it, with new characters that were trying to be like the old cast, which wasn't working. Every season it seemed like they got some cast changes, untill finally it stopped filming. Now they show re-runs of SBTB on TBS at 7&7:30 (in NY). Sometimes they put on SBTB in it's early stages, which was GMMB except with a new name. On Friday's SBTB: The College Years in place of SBTB. And that brings us back to the present. Sorry for the long history. To answer your question, GMMB, or the early SBTB's, was a show with too many teachers and not enough kids. It was almost like Boston Public with all the teachers, don't you all think so? I hope i answered your question in that long history leason of SBTB. (I'm a huge fan)

a loyal SBTB fan. SBTB till the end!!!
