OK...this is something that has confused me for about three years now. A couple of my friends believe that Dustin Diamond is related to Michael Diamond of the Beastie Boys (aka Mike D). Now they do look alot like, but I really find it hard to believe they are related. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I have read and heard several interviews with Dustin Diamond and that question has been asked, and he's always denied it. So, he is is no way related to him. I hope I helped!

Well I too thought they were related. Dustin's IMDB Bio (http://us.imdb.com/Bio?Diamond,+Dustin) says that they are related. But it seems that IMDB blew it again.

I went to the official Beastie Boys site (http://www.beastieboys.com/) which sent me this faq entry (http://www.beastieboogloo.digitalspace.net/oldfaq.html#1.5) which states:
Although some say they look alike, and despite the fact that they share the same last name, the two diaminds are not related.

This is a rumor that has been flying for years. The fact is, they do both have the same last name, and they look incrediby similar. But both deny it. Who knows the real truth?
