View Full Version : Series already spoken for...moot post
Agent 13 10-19-2005, 02:36 PM Update: these are already spoken for.
Also, I have other items still up for grabs in my Bargain Bin (http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?t=149695&highlight=bargain+bin).
jasimon1 10-19-2005, 03:03 PM I'm speechless.....except now I'm glad I never traded with you.
padre 10-19-2005, 03:23 PM Well, I for one enjoy trading with Jen and she's got the right to get rid of shows that don't agree with her values. She's honest and upfront, values I'd look for in a trading partner (or person).
jasimon1 10-19-2005, 03:33 PM Your getting me completely wrong. I believe she can think whatever she wants and watch or not watch things based on those beliefs. However, if I wanted to read homosexual bashing propoganda, I would go to one of the many websites out there that host that type of bs. I don't need to read it on the tape trading post.
jasimon1 10-19-2005, 03:37 PM I appreciate you taking it off your post Agent 13. Thank you.

Sorry, but you're the one who's "getting" completely wrong. Jen said nothing specific, other than the values in the show don't align with hers. That's a perfectly fair statement for someone to say & should not be interpreted as gay bashing (where EVER did you get that?)
I agree that Jen is a wonderful trader & I think you should lighten up.

Actually, she edited after I said something. Originally she had a link in the post where it talked specifically about an episode of Cold Case files about a lesbian couple. It talked about how tv has been "glorifying" homosexuality and the writer believes it is a horrible thing to show homosexuality in a positive light. She deleted the link and I think it was very nice of her to understand my point of view.

Ok, my apologies for chiming in late & therefore not being accurate.
I agree it was nice of her to change it. (She's very thoughtful that way!)
Again, my bad. (slapping hands)
:)
jasimon1 10-19-2005, 03:47 PM No problem, I think anyone coming into this after she edited would have thought the same exact thing.
neuroslicer 10-19-2005, 04:30 PM It's trying times like these that I ask myself...

Agent 13 10-19-2005, 05:12 PM Actually, if you note the times I initially posted and then edited, you will note that all of that was done before any of the other comments were made.
Thanks to Padre and RedWhine56 for their kind comments on my behalf.

Yeah, I need to start watching that. My bad. [Insert 'embarassed' smiley here.] I'm just glad it all worked out ok. ;)
