This is the fourth-season episode with Gary Coleman....it was hilarious.
When I used to watch this episode growing up and when it came on N@N, there was a scene where George shows Gary a game (Marshmallow Land) to play. I think George said something along the line lines of "...when I was your age, I used to play this for hours". and I think Gary said "you've must've been a dummy" (or something like that).
By watching this episode, you could tell Gary said something else, but it was dubbed over with "dummy".
In the original version on DVD, it turns out Gary said "you must've really been ********"....LMAO

In the syndicated version...did he say dummy or stupid???
They're now airing the fourth season episodes in New York at 2:30 and 3:00 am, so I'm gonna tape it to see what was dubbed in. They showed Once a Friend and George's Help last night. I have about a week and a half before they show Uncle George and Aunt Louise.

That's funny that you say that...because I was just thinking the same thing also when I watched that episode on DVD verses the episodes I used to record on video. I tried to find the tape that I recorded the episode on to see if there was a difference but couldn't find it. So I'm glad that you cleared that up for me...lol

I vaguely remember watching this episode when it first came on in 1978. Gary Coleman had a kind of charisma I remember so it was a given that he would get a series of his own. One good thing about the Jeffersons was that they could have a cute kid in an episode or two but they didn't feel the need to add one on a full time basis.
Speaking of the NYC airings they seem to be skipping over episodes. The show has only been on there for about a month and they're already up to the 4th season, which is weird. The 4th seasons episodes are good. This morning they aired the one where Louise almost goes on an archeological dig with the scientist. Truthfully, I'm looking forward to them playing the episodes from the 80s (Don't laugh ;) because I haven't seen those in many many years.
