View Full Version : Star roles for Leah in the movies.
Justfuhgetaboutit 10-16-2005, 04:16 PM * This thread is not meant to steer Leah away from the King Of Queens, I'm just trying to be creative regarding her future acting career.*
Ok this thread is to share your thoughts about movies you think Leah would be good in. Heres my thoughts:
Title:"The Charlatans"
Main tagline:Martial arts extremist/NYPD officer who defended bullied youths and women in her neighborhood (Brooklyn,New York) in her late teen years, Mona Sparks(Leah Remini) eventually becomes noticed by a CIA recruiter for her work and becomes a CIA agent that solves crime across the world.(Similar to XXX with Vin Diesel) *The following is the opening sequence*
Scene Title: Operation: Clean Streets, Mexico City,Mexico 12:30 am
It starts like in a drug factory in Mexico where these gang bangers are making illegal drugs right? So then shes wearing like a tight(for male sex attraction) black leather outfit with a face mask and high heels (to make her kicks more effective when she kicks someone) cause its at night and she dont wanna be seen (hence the black leather outfit), so then she drops a rope and slides down through a venilation duct in the ceiling and sneaks up behind the gang leader patrolling the main hallway and she waits till he turns around and she does like a sidekick(kicks him in the stomach) so hard that theres a crack and it broke a couple of his ribs then when he's bent over she does a crescent kick(like where you stand and do a circular kick with the side of your foot) to the side of his head and knocks him out, then she grabs his ak47and she goes across the factories catwalk and she's above the hoods making the drugs and she is taking pictures of them with a mini camera with a small flash to prevent obvious detection and is eventually spotted by another hood on the catwalk and when distracted by him, another hood climbs up the stairs (due to the noise) and puts her in a choke hold but she kicks the hood in front of her in the groin (balls) and when he falls down she does a scissors kick to the back of his head and knocks him out, and she does a backfist(a punch with the back of the hand) to the one choking her and turns around and does a roundhouse(like a Bruce Lee style kick) to his chin and knocks him down, and after that she is spotted by everyone below, in response, she starts shooting everything up and theres like all these bags of coke getting shot and theres drugs flying in the air and once she shoots her way to the front exit, she tries to escape on a motorbike but these couple of thugs try to stop her so she jumps off it and does like a flying Bruce Lee kick(roundhouse) in the face with one of them then she punches another one in the face and when shes on the motorbike shes going like 85 mph trying to get out of there and there's all these explosions going on because the thugs are chasing her in their souped up Corvettes and theres CIA choppers in the air. So she does like an over a barbed wire fence and gets the hell out of there, then in the next scene she gets congratulated by her colleagues and is recruited to the next mission, oh by the way her name would be Agent Mona Sparks or like an Italian last name hence her Italian descent.
Oh by the way, before this happens, they show her in Brooklyn New York in 1991 as an 13 year old training in a martial arts dojo and then 4 years later in 95 when shes 17, it shows her beating up a puerto rican gangbanger for hitting a women trying to steal her purse. Then it shows her another time when she's 27, and she's in a coffee shop in Newark, New Jersey and the CIA recruiter, (who at the time she doesn't know he's a recruiter (similar to the scene in XXX when Samuel L. Jackson tested Vin Diesel with those two guys). So anyway, this time it's a little different, an Italian ganbanger is holding a .45 automatic pistol and demands the cast register money, so she just sits there and pretends like she doesn't do anything but she goes up behind him and taps him on the shoulder to mess up his concentration on the cashier employee, so then what she does is she does like this outcrescent kick (like where you stand forward at the person and rotate your leg so your foot hits him on the side of the head) to his cheeck area, so he holds his face and trys to punch her but then she grabs his hand and punches him in the face and does a judo flip on him and sends him flying a few feet back and it sends him through a table and the guy gives up and returns the money back the cashier. And the local cops come and arrest him. So when the dust clears, the CIA recruiter claps his hands and she turns around to a tall statured african-american man in a well tailored grey suit and tie in his late 40s. He says
"Well, well, if it isn't the tough, anti-crime women, Mona Sparks. (he knows her name because he read her dossier) So Mona says "What do you want?" Well It's not what I want it's what you want" "What do you mean?" "Well, from reading your profile in text and seeing what happened just now, I believe you will be an excellent addition to the CIA, so what do you say?" .... *she stays silent and nods* "Ok well see you next week bright and early". "Bye now" "Bye Mr....." "The names, Ryan..... Micheal Ryan" "Ok, well see you later Mr. Ryan".
However, somewhere down the road, Special Agent, Ryan retires from the CIA and a new boss comes along, and Mona eventually is betrayed by some crooked colleagues- hence "Charlatans"
So what do you guys think? sound cool? Has anyone got any comments about it? Has anyone thought of their own ideas for Leah?
This piece of info may help you understand the backround a little more:
The mexican mission was the opening scene and in addition to that, she was already with the CIA for about a couple years. and the coffee shop part was a flashback to when she first became recruited.
Oh, and when I say "martial arts extremist" that means that she's highly experienced in it and she has black belts in like 3 different martial arts:
1.Tae Kwon Do- to give her strong kicking ability (Tae Kwon Do has a lot of foot movement)
2.Judo- her ability to grab and throw people bigger than her (Judo has a lot of grabbing and flipping/throwing)
3.Jijitsu- Her ability to choke enemies to silently knock them out (Jijitsu has a lot of grappling technique like wrestling)
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 12-27-2005, 09:31 PM Wow, that is reallly good! I can sooo picture her in that role! Are we gonna see more of this? I know I want to! :D
Justfuhgetaboutit 12-27-2005, 09:36 PM Ok here's some more:
Operation: "Splash" April 12th, 2006 12:30 pm (pacific time)
When she goes back to the office the next morning, (this is of course after she has her flashback dream in her apartment the night before) so she goes back to the office and talks to Ryan (the executive agent) about her next assignment. This time, the Japanese Mob out in California is involved. (I know what your thinking, she's based in New York, but she had a free plane ticket to go there, the CIA paid for it). So anyways she goes to this pool party in this fancy hotel in Sacramento. So she throws a rope down from the ventilation duct and sneaks up behind a random thug standing in the corridor and she aligns herself with the back of his head and kicks him there so he will be knocked out (her tae kwon do backround gives her this ability) then she drags him into the closet. But now she has to decide what to do... she thinks in her mind "Should I masquerade (dress and act like someone else) as a liqour inspector to get in the pool room then let those punks have it later? or should I go in there and neutralize the party?"(keep in mind, her voice is saying this in the backround in a echo tone but her mouth isn't moving, she's thinking) So she decides to rumage through her backpack and takes out a silencer equipped machine gun and a couple smoke grenades. So she goes in at full blast and shoots up some of the henchman in the pool room. There's bullets flying everywhere as the hoods fire at her with their .45 automatics. But when a thug rapidly approaches her, she decides to throw the gun down and go into hand to hand combat. So first she does a leg sweep to trip him then she but this guys tougher then she thought. So he puts her up against the wall and tries to choke her but her agility solves her situation. Meaning that she knees him in the stomach and kicks him in the chest, knocking him into the pool. Then she picks up her gun again and shoots the rest of the thugs. So now its just down to her and the boss. A hand to hand fight starts and the boss has a martial arts backround as well but its not as good as Spark's (Leah's) backround she has black belts in 3 martial arts. So a fight goes underway and she seems like to be winning but the sneaky bastard hits her with a pool deck chair (you know the wooden ones) and he grabs out his gun and tries to shoot her but all the sudden another agent(Vin Diesel) comes about in the pool and shoots him in the back with his gun and then he shoots Morimoto(just a name I made up, he's the guy that she kicked into the pool). Then he asks her "Are you alright?" She says "Yea, thank you" Then he says "I had to come down here, when I overheard you and Ryan talking about this in the office, it sounded like a suicide mission and I'm suprised you were able to survive down there in Mexico all by yourself, those drug factories are hornets nests" so she says "Don't worry about it, this is my line of work, I was born to do this"
So later that night they go out for pizza in Brooklyn at this place called "OOfa Pizza" (that's name from The Sopranos I remembered, lol) So he takes her back to his apartment that night and there's a sex scene. But it's not too detailed, it's not a porno. But there's a vaginal sex scene when their in bed. The next morning, they talk to each other about their childhoods and the kind of experiences they had. So Sparks says "When I was a kid, my dad died in a car accident and my mom was almost too depressed to take care of me so when I was bullied, that's how I became a martial artist so I could defend myself" So after listening to that Davis (who is the second agent, Vin Diesel) gives a sensitive and remorseful look to her and kisses her. So he says "Yea I know what you mean, when I was a kid, I grew up in the Bronx and there were these hoods that used to rob everyones houses, including mine, so that's when I started taking martial arts because I didn't want to take their **** anymore, and that's when I knew the CIA was my destiny, I just had to do something about those kinds of people, I wanted to dispence justice as a living." The sequence ends with them both saying goodbye to each other when they go to work and she has a conference to go to and he reports to his desk.
So what do you think my man? Iam I a genius or what?!

So what do you think guys? Iam I a genius or what?!
The only reason why Davis shoots the boss and Morimoto is because the rest of the thugs are presumably dead. Morimoto also happend to be an important figure in the syndicate, he was a right hand man to the boss, that's why he appeared to fight so viciously with Sparks because with him being the right hand, he was tougher than the other thugs, they were rookies compared to Morimoto. That's also why the camera showed directly his dead body unlike the other hoods. (Davis told Sparks who he was and his backround, that's how his name and stuff came up).
Oh if you wondering where I got the name Morimoto from, that's the name of a Japanese cook on "Iron Chef America" lol.
Oh, I forgott to tell you this, in the mission brief scene at the office with Ryan, Ryan tells her that the reason why she's supposed sabotage the party is because the syndicate is powerful and they have Casinos out in LA that issue phony playing chips and they also screw people out of money and their into black market dealing, meaning they buy and trade illegal automatic weapons with their roots back in Japan.
Their also reponsible for sending out their lower ranked memebers to rob rich people's houses out in Sacramento and they also murder people who don't pay them back their points (money) and people who don't listen to them and take their power seriously
Jo_Luvs_Ketchup 12-27-2005, 11:52 PM OH COME ON!!!! This is getting reallly good!
Kristen 12-28-2005, 01:21 AM Good job! You def. put a lot of effort into this.
sanrio908 12-28-2005, 06:01 PM finally someone repied to this story. im a litle on the shy side but this is a really good story. we need another chapter:D !!!
Chelsea 12-28-2005, 09:15 PM It's good - definitely shows effort and creativity. Hell, considering what studios are putting out these days, it'd definitely be an improvment
sweetdiggity 12-28-2005, 09:28 PM I gotta say.....you did a damn good job with that story. It'd be cool if Leah really played that role. Keep up the good work!
Justfuhgetaboutit 12-28-2005, 10:41 PM Thank you all. I'm glad you guys appreciate this whole work of art (lol) of mine. When I first thought of this back in October, it all started when I was on AOL talking to Huntington and he said it sounded cool and I asked him if I should post it in the KOQ forum and he said "go for it" so now look at it, it's getting popular!
Justfuhgetaboutit 12-28-2005, 10:56 PM Ok this poll is to give you guys the option to vote on which fight scene from "The Charlatans" you believed was the best. If you need help on voting, consider the following aspects of the particular scenes:
1. Most excting, 2. Techniques used to neutralize opponents, 3.Location
*Also note that these fight scenes are the only available ones right now in the story, in the future however, there will likely be more scenes, so don't worry, this poll doesn't mean that the fight scenes in the movie are done, I'm just curious to see what you guys think about these three scenes.*
Justfuhgetaboutit 12-28-2005, 11:54 PM In case you people were wondering why I haven't posted any of the story lately it's because I'm still deciding on what to write next. I was thinking about expanding on her relationship with Davis (Diesel) and taking a break from the fighting. I've also been thinking about having her go out on a date with Davis but it's interupted by some gangsters when they leave the restruant, so there would be a combination of both. (thanks to sanrio908 for the thought). So what do you guys think would be better? an interupted date? or another mission scene with Leah kicking the the bad guy's asses?
Justfuhgetaboutit 01-20-2006, 07:42 PM Hey guy's I'm back with a new scene!
Location: Bogota, Colombia
Ok this time she's not coming with anyone, but Ryan(the executive) is sending her down to South America because Agent Robert Cox(a new addition to the CIA, Mona is a little suspicious of him) found out from intel (documents) that the colombians are working with Al Qaeda to get weapons from the black market like machine guns, hand grenades, sniper rifles stuff like that, so it shows her on the plane but it shows her duffel bag, and later on she gets there she diguises herself as a south american cocktail waitress and the duffel bag had a bikini in it, because of the warm weather so then shes overhearing the colombians talking about a middle eastern score (she can understand spanish) so when shes serving a thug a drink (keep in mind this is at a pool meeting at the colombian bosses place by the colombian coastline) so the thug grabs her butt and she stares at him and pretends to like it but he'll get whats coming to him later because a fight is going to erupt but not for a little while yet. So anyways, she's serving the guys their drinks and once nobodies looking she goes around the back of the house and spots 5 large wooden crates and she does one of her signature tae kwon do kicks on it to break it but instead of black market weapons, it's actually cocaine and stolen jewerly. By now one of the thugs hears the noise and one comes up behind her and points a gun to the back of her head. So she puts her hands up and at first she does what the thug says you know like "Put your hands behind your back and stand against the wall with her back towards me!" says the thug. So she does and he's checking her for weapons but he touches her ass in a way that pisses her off not sexual though (remember she's wearing a bikini so it's skin on skin contact) so as soon as he touches her she turns around really quick and smacks the gun out of his hand and does a front kick and nails him in the face send him flying off a steep hill at the back of the house and he falls and he's too tired to get up but he screamed before he fell and one of the other thugs hear him so they go to his aid but she's still too worn out. Dropping his gun, she picks up the gun and goes around the other side of the house and it turns out that Cox wasn't wrong after all, she notices that theirs heavy artillery in a small hut. So she checks out the hardware carefully and she closes the hut's door and loads up the guns so when she opens the door she's able to fight of the rest of the Colombians. Once she opens the door all hell breaks loose because the thugs saw her in the hut through a crack in the door. So she starts shooting the thugs and once she runs out of ammo she trys to go back to the hut to restock but there's some gangsters blocking the door so she goes to walk backwards but there's another two guys behind her so this is where her Judo comes in to play. She kicks one of the guys lurking behing her in the stomach then the takes one of the guys in front of her and does a flip on him, sending him crashing into the other the thug. Now it's down to her, one thug and the boss, who's underestimating Mona and just sits back and lets his right hand man Manny (this is the guy that grabbed her ass before when she was serving drinks) so the fight starts when he goes to punch her but with her martial art's skills she blocks his arm and twists it and does 5 kicks to his head in a row, knowing that he can outspeed her, he uses his muscle to try to choke her and he slams her up against the front of the house but he doesn't last too long when she waits for him to expose his stomach and she knees him in the in the stomach and kicks him on the right side of his chest sending him through a wooden beach chair. So now it's down to her and the boss who when Manny was still in the game was sitting up on the balcony of his house drinking tequilla and smoking a cuban cigar. So she's just standing there and he jumps down from the balcony (he's acrobatic too but still not quite as good as Mona) so he jumps down and they begin to fight. He attemps to hit her with a glass drink tray but she takes one of his footflops that fell off his foot when he jumped and put it on and she kicked him in the face with the tray in front of his face, shattering it and causing his face to bleed. So once he's subdued she finishes him off by kicking him in the stomach then in the face and then she does a judo flip on him through a glass table and when he trys sit his head up, she kicks him in the forehead, putting him into a coma. So then she goes into the house and calls the Colombian police to arrest the guys (she knew the phone number prior to her mission, Cox told her at the office) so she dials the phone and the police come and arrrest all the guys that are alive (Manny, the boss- even though he got thrown through a table he's still alive and so is the guy she threw down the hill, Omar) So then once the guys are arrested, she goes back to America and tells Ryan and Stewart in the conference room about what she uncovered down there. She says "there were some illegal weapons down there, it looks like the boss (Antonio Sosa) was stashing them at his house. I also noticed some cocaine and stolen jewerly down there too." Presumably whatever was left of the goods was taken by the Colombian Police when they raided Sosa's house. So she goes back to her apartment for the night and calls Davis on the phone the next morning, who at the time of her being in Colombia was taking care of business with a street gang in New Jersey.
So what do you guys think? Should I be a screenplay writer or what?! :)
sanrio908 01-21-2006, 12:33 PM dude i love this chapter especially the part when the guys head goes through the glass table. i love scenes like this.
Justfuhgetaboutit 02-11-2006, 10:59 PM *New Scene*
Ok, this time around, Mona and Davis decide to lay low for a while and take some time off from work. When they come back to her place, there's a few gangbangers hiding in their closet. So when they come in the door, one of the guys hits Davis in the back of the head with a club and one of them knocks Mona out from the behind. So then the guys take them both and put them in the trunck of the car and when they wake up again, Davis finds a baseball bat in the back of the trunk. So when the gangbangers are done with their drive off to the woods, to drop her and Davis off (they think their still out) one of the guys opens the trunk, and Mona kicks the guy in his stomach and falls down. Then Davis jumps out and hits the other guy with the baseball bat then Davis and her team up on the third guy. The guys were from a local mafia family. Come to find out, the guy that Davis hit with the bat was actually the guy Mona beat up in the Jersey coffee shop years earlier. So what do you think? Any comments/suggestions?
LivinLaarge 02-12-2006, 05:56 PM wow thats really great you should become a pro at this writing thing. i have been writing new Koq eps for just my own, but oneday i wish to send all of them in. you should send yors in too.
Justfuhgetaboutit 02-12-2006, 06:53 PM Thanks. You know when I first started this thread, I didn't know how people were going to react to it. But as I can see, it's becoming pretty popular! Thanks everyone! :)
sanrio908 02-12-2006, 07:22 PM finally you updated! this was a short, sweet and to the point chapter which i liked. i also loved the part with Davis and the baseball bat. love it!:)
Justfuhgetaboutit 02-19-2006, 01:39 PM *New Scene* "Just for Relaxation"
Ok, this time around, Ray (Davis's first name) and Mona decide to take some time off work to relax. So at separate times of the day, they go into Ryans's office and ask for time off. Once this is done, at the end of the day Ray calls Mona and asks her to meet him at his place so they can discuss what their going to do with their time off. They both live in Manhattan by the way. So when she gets there, they decide that their going to go to the Bahamas for a week to take a break from the stress of their jobs. So later that night they get their tickets in advance and they get on the plane the next morning. When their on the plane sitting by each other, Mona lean over and kisses him in the cheeck and says "This is going to be wonderful, finally some time for ourselves" Ray replies "Yea, it's not too often I can take a vacation like this with someone like you and then he kisses her head. So when they get there, they check a hotel room and eat at a nice seafood resturant.Later, their sipping drinks and relaxing on the balcony looking at the beautiful Bahama beachline. So then later that night, when the beautiful sunset comes, their making out on the balcony and they go in their room and have sex. Then later they talk to each other. Mona says "you know I don't know if I ever literally thanked you that time for when you intereferred in California that time, you saved my life... then she kisses him on the neck. Then he says "It was my pleasure, I knew I had to go over there when I heard you were all by yourself, I didn't want to see you get hurt." Then he kisses her back on her lips. Then they drink some scotch and watch some tv then they go sleep.
troopoleon8897 02-19-2006, 02:18 PM It is rumored she may be involved in the big Dallas Movie that they have been planning forever...
Justfuhgetaboutit 02-19-2006, 02:47 PM Oh, that sounds cool because she'll be in a movie so she gain popularity! So what do you think of my idea though?
Justfuhgetaboutit 03-05-2006, 02:13 PM So what do you guys think? Should I expand on their vacation more? Or have it where they go back to the city and do their jobs again?
Justfuhgetaboutit 03-18-2006, 11:35 PM Ok this time around, Mona's back on the job! Back in the bahamas, her and Richard (Davis's first name) got married, they saw that they had a lot of things in common.
Anyways, her jobs resumes in China Town. Her supervisor (Ryan from before) has told her that their have been reports of a gang of Chinese immigrants from Hong Kong who are selling/importing designer drugs into the area. So, Mona drives to the city to check it out. At first when she walks through the China Town sector of the city, she sees people living life normally, people buying stir fry noodles over there, people talking and having good times. Eventually however, she sees a hoodlum giving a crack head a nicklebag and the guy pays him 20 bucks. So after she sees him, a gang member approaches her, out of fear of her being a undercover cop. So he holds a gun to her and tells her to do what he says. But a scream lets out from a civilian who is terrified of the man with the gun and in a split second, the guy turns his eyes into the civilians direction and Mona gets ready to fight. She first grabbs his arm and knees his elbow to knock the gun out of his hand then she swings around and kicks him really hard in the ribs (keep in mind she's wearing high heeled boots) and he looses his balance and falls down. Then his gang buddies try to get her with one guy holding a baseball bat but Mona thinks fast and kicks him in the balls and steals his bat and hits him in the head. Then when the rest of the guys approach her, she tries to hit another guy with it but he blocks her hit and tries to kick her but she catches his foot and karate chops his knee, breaking his knee cap. Then the 3rd guy (the guy who bought the drugs before) is putting up a good fight, they both exchanged kicks and punches but Mona finishes him off by doing a scissors kick, nailing him on the right side of his chest, and sends him flying through a stir fry noodle shop window. When the dust clears, she takes the nicklebag out of the guys pocket and takes it back to headquartes to the forensics lab to find out exactly where it came from and see if they could track the drugs back to Hong Kong, eventually tracking down other members of the same gang in their homeland.
LivinLaarge 03-20-2006, 06:58 PM i like that her and davis are gettin hooked up now AWSOME!
sanrio908 03-30-2006, 07:51 PM lol i wonder what part she'll play in dallas and the storyline looks awsome
Justfuhgetaboutit 05-07-2006, 01:39 PM You know what I was thinking, since my movie idea has so many fight scenes and drama scenes, I wonder if I should try to make this more like a short series where it has like 5-6 seperate episodes, like how Band of Brothers had 8 episodes plus 2 bonus. If I made this into one movie, it would be too much to see at once.
LivinLaarge 05-08-2006, 07:00 PM That work for me;)
Justfuhgetaboutit 05-21-2006, 12:29 PM Oh, I thought of an ending for my idea. How about it's where Ryan (the CIA supervisor) sends Mona and Davis on a job to the Bronx without telling them that it's heated area with a lot of gangs and the agency didn't give them any equipment. So in other words, Ryan didn't tell them on purpose to set them up, he wants them both dead because of all their sucess in the agency for them being relatively new agents, Ryan saw them as a threat. Then in the heat of things, Davis gets shot by a thug and the series would end with him in the hospital on a breathing machine with the beeping. Then once that ends, that will leave room to make a part two or have like 2 bonus episodes were it shows Mona hunting down Ryan while Richard (Davis's first name) is recovering in the hospital. How does that sound?
