I thought I'd talk about my "New Class" book some. Instead of posting on other New Class threads, I'd make one just about this. Here are the different sections in the book.

The 1993-1994 Season
An overview of the 1st season. Includes cast lineups and a list of the top five best episodes in the season.

The 1994-1995 Season
An overview of the 2nd season. Includes cast lineups and a list of the top five best episodes in the season.

The 1995-1996 Season
An overview of the 3rd season. Includes cast lineups and a list of the top five best episodes in the season.

The 1996-1997 Season
An overview of the 4th season. Includes cast lineups and a list of the top five best episodes in the season.

The 1997-1998 Season
An overview of the 5th season. Includes cast lineups and a list of the top five best episodes in the season.

The 1998-2000 Seasons
An overview of the 6th and 7th seasons. Includes cast lineups and a list of the top five best episodes in the season.

Filling the Gaps
It turns out that a season of "The New Class" only takes place in the first half of a school year. That's why a few season finales take place during Christmas time. What I do in this chapter is write up episode descriptions for the remainder of the school year. All the characters that left the show will have episodes where they actually leave.

The Top Ten List
I list the fan's ten favorite episodes.

The Full Episode Guide
Complete with cast lineups, including guest stars, a description of each episode, followed by special "School Record" notes.

Where They Are Now
I use my imagination and explain where each of the characters are in their lives in year 2005.

The Actors of "The New Class"
I give IMDB like lists of the work of the actors. Most of them, however, only did "The New Class" and not much else.

I might do more. Right now, I'm still working on the episode guide. Like I've said earlier, I'm not publishing the book. It's just for fun. However, I can post bits of my book in this thread.

You can also have a section talking about the places they went when they weren't in school: space camp, working at the mall, Paris, ski lodge, etc.

Oh, that's cool. I would like to read the episode outlines you came up with and the "where are they now?". Then we can post what we think the characters would be doing now.

In the "Where They Are Now", I plan on having Megan Jones and Bobby Wilson as a married couple. It seemed like towards the end of the 2nd season, she started to like him and I liked the idea of them together. Of course, I'll have to create a story for how they get together after graduating high school.

I'll post a few chapters when I'm done.

Vashti,
I like that idea. I probably will have a section talking about those different places.

Season 1 in Review

In the fall of 1993, two spin-offs from the highly popular “Saved by the Bell” aired their first episodes. One was “Saved by the Bell: The College Years,” which followed Zack, Slater, Screech and Kelly to California University. It aired in primetime. The other spin-off was “Saved by the Bell: The New Class.” Mr. Belding and the Bayside High Set were the only things returning from the original show. Six new kids roamed the halls, schemed and got caught. Scott Erickson was a transfer student from Valley (Bayside’s main rival). Weasel Wyzell was a computer nerd and Scott's sidekick. Tommy De Luca (or Tommy D.) was a tough guy, who loved cars and wanted to be a mechanic. Lindsay Warner was Tommy’s girlfriend and the girl of Scott’s dreams. Megan Jones was the brain of the group, yet she was beautiful and loved by Weasel. Vicki Needleman was the neurotic blonde, who was allergic to just about everything.

As the year went on, 13 episodes were produced for “The New Class.” 19 were produced for “The College Years.” It only made one season before cancellation. “The College Years” ended with a TV-Movie, featuring Zack and Kelly’s wedding in Las Vegas. Much to everyone’s surprise, “The New Class” was renewed for a second season. However, severe changes were going to be made.
