I'm trying to bring up the name of a lighter-than-lightweight show that aired weekday afternoons on USA for a brief time in the 80s - the premise involved some (possibly orphaned) teen siblings and an older male (an uncle, maybe) who were running a soda shop, if I recall. The show was hospital-food bland, but I thought the girl lead was highly watchable, so I forced myself to sit through several episodes. One of the last episodes was, however, awesomely bad - written and, I believe, directed by its D-list guest star, who managed to take 40 points off the IQs of the characters and contrive herself an excuse to include her singing and dancing, which were no better than her scriptwriting. I'm remembering the show as being in that late-afternoon block with Dance Party USA and Cartoon Express, though it didn't last as long as either, maybe a season or so. Anyway, any help coming up with the name of the show (and any clarification to my hazy memory of it) is appreciated.
