Sorry if this has been asked before, but do you think it is time for the two to have kids?

I personally don't think they should while the show is still on. Maybe when the show ends, they could have Carrie find out that she's pregnant in the finale.

I think the concept of them having a baby is cute, like in season 4's Pregnant Pause, but I agree, not now it would screw up the formula of the show. It would be good in the finale.
