I was 15 and I was getting ready for school. I had the morning news on and was totally shocked when the newscaster said they were in New York and then he said John Lennon had been murdered. I turned my head around sooo fast. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. John was and always will be my favorite Beatle. I was stunned. That evening I watched every news I could abt this and felt so sad. It was Xmas time and it just didn't seem very happy. His death was the first time I had ever cried at the death of someone famous. Up until that point, it had only been the death of relatives. I have only cried 3 times for famous people. John Lennon, Lucille Ball & Princess Diana.
