Of course...sometimes it might actually mean right between the eyes as well :D D Janice 10-13-2005, 10:33 AM I take it to mean that something really took a person by surprise or knocked them off their feet, figuratively speaking. If I was served today with divorce papers, I might tell someone that I was really hit between the eyes. Of course, if that happened, I would literally hit my husband between the eyes. :lol: Love is blind - When a person overlooks a person's faults because they are so giddy with love.
