During the 7th and 8th seasons, I noticed that Janet became a bit rough on Jack.

For instance.....
When Larry suspected Jack was taking advantage of his sister...she assumed something was up...and treated him nasty until Terri brought in that letter from the bathroom.
I didn't like the episode where Janet thought Jack's girlfriend was a "lady of the night", but she was actually a therapist (or as Janet pronounced it "THE-RAPIST"). Let me rephrase that....I didn't like that way Janet treated Jack.

I think it all started during that episode during the 5th season when Jack gave his girlfriend's father lessons on "how to score" and then the guy used these techniques on Janet. Notice for the first time Janet actually threatens him and inflicts pain (choking and squeezing) and going after him. This treatment continued during the remainder of the show

I thought she was kind of snotty to Jack throughout the whole show. She also didn't trust him with her own sister. She often jumped to conclusions and had an attitude.

If you ask me, I think that she was the 'jealous type' from the very begining of the show(first episode). Remember how Jack was very into 'Chrissy'. Even thouh it was scripted, you don't have to be a rocket scientest to put 2&2 together. But notice how sometimes when Jack would be playful with her, than she didn't care, all comes down to jealousy.

Maybe because that's when she probably started to like him;) .You know how some people treat the one they love like dirt to get their attention

It was definitely jealousy. I never treated anyone I liked the way she did though ;) but you do behave...different...when you're in love with someone...and if you try so hard to make someone believe you are not interested when in fact you are, it looks silly, you don't notice but everyone else does :D

Janet was also snotty with Terri after Bob, the bartender from the Reagle Beagle, asked Terri out. Janet was sooo jealous and became mean and nasty.

Janet was awesome!!! She had a great attitude and was a good friend!!! She was always there to get them out of trouble!!!!

Janet was often bossy and mean to Jack, but they were always really good friends. That was just the way she acted towards him, and personally, I thought it was funny when she got mad at him. The expressions on his face were hilarious!

ok, girls...imagine living with a guy all the time, wouldn't he eventually get on your nerves sometimes? i live with my older brother and that's enough for me... :lol:

That's why someday I wanna live in an apartment with two of my females friends who are a gorgeous blonde and a gorgeous brunette;)
