I work but have a TV sound radio so I only get to LISTEN but Junior was on the Tony Danza Show and they discussed DAD a bit....

Tony even said the name of the show Chico and the Man ....

I had chills.... and I cried.....

and then he went on to promote his new show.......... I hope he does well.

Tylers... I just finished watching it and the resemblance to his father was so incredible. With his extra facial hair he looks like Fredricko... I enjoyed the interview.

Envious of either one of those two?? Doubt it. Neither one of them ranks high on my list of people who are good actors who have something interesting to say. Freddie's movie career crapped out pretty early and Danza...well, he's Tony Danza. Need I say more?

I have no problem with Freddie Prinze senior - he was a talented comedian and his show was funny.

As for Junior - he has no talent, which is why he's already doing a sitcom. And appearing on Tony Danza's show isn't gonna bolster his hipster credibility.

I'm not here to rattle - just to express my not-so-humble opinion.:cool:

My VERY humble opinion is that Jr. was fighting his dad's legacy for a long time with his movie career. I mean, he was doing comedies, but not up to the standard of the writing and acting on CATM. And when he did a dramatic role (or a horror flick, which to me is a different thing), he was not playing to his hereditary strength. Going from movies to TV doesn't necessary imply failure...here's hoping that, now that Jr. has embraced his dad's greatest gift to him, it all works out!

Oh and BTW...Jr. has been making the rounds of ALL the talk shows lately, both good and not-so-good....

I saw that Fredie was on The Tony Danza Show and
I enjoyed seeing Freedie on The Tony Danza Show.

I remember many moons ago that our dear Fred Sr. was not well liked by many, many people either.

When he started in Chico and the Man it was an uproar because Freddie was Hungarian (Puerto Rican/Hungarian) and the Mexican people could not understand why they put Freddie in the role of Chico and the Man. This went on for many months until everyone settled down and gave OUR PRINZE his day in the sun.

What I'm trying to say is... it takes time to make a good show. You just have to wait and see. If it's meant for Freddie Jr. to succeed in this show he will. It will be GOD's will.

In my eye he's already made it. I sat down the other day and was doing a crossword puzzle and the question was Who played Fred in the movie Scooby Doo?

Well......... When I knew the answer to this question "Freddie Prinze" - I smiled and I said to myself Well Junior you've made it!
