This afternoon I watched Happy Days. It caught me by surprise to see Charlene Tilton from Dallas on. It was the chapter that Fonzie and Joanie tried to win a contest (they were dancing together). Charlene danced with this tall guy.

So Charlene kept bothering The Fonz telling him that her and her guy would win the contest. So the 2 couples made a bet to dance the jitterbug. Well............. Fonzie was so funny.......... He didn't even use his feet. He just stood there and was flipping Joanie side to side, left to right and he would twirl her - all the while with his feet planted on the floor. Fonz was so funny.......

I saw that yesterday too. One of my favs. Charlene is a tiny thing! Sorry but the Fonz doing that dance at the end, I don't think so. It's not him. Oh by the way I loved Ralph's singing voice.

I like that one too and the number Ralph sings has the same melody as "hava nagela" or whatever the name of that was. I still can't figure out what Fonzie called his dance. Was that the first time Ritchie played the sax? Why would Charlene be paired with her broher?

I found out that Ritchies Yowsa phrase was used in the 40s quite a bit. It was also on the hit Dance by Chic from the 70's

That episode was great, just great! It had everything! My all-time favourite (note that I only have seen episodes from seasons 1-3 ;)).
