A good trivia question. I'm not if it's been ever asked, but remember the very first episode, the wedding show. They showed an exterior shot of Mike and the boys's first home. Was that an actual home like the home we're most familiar with, or was it something that was on the lot?

It was an actual house - they didn't build any sets until the pilot sold.

However, in the storyline, there are not two separate houses; it's very clear that the girls are moving in in "A Clubhouse is not a Home". We're just supposed to use our imaginations that the two houses are the same (kinda like how the Huxtable home was quite different in the "Cosby Show" pilot).

So was the Winslow home on Family Matters.

I always wondered who was living in the girls' room before they moved in.

Greg was. When Mike woke up Peter and Bobby to come on the honeymoon Greg came in from another room.
