My great-great aunt went into the hospital last night. She was having difficulty breathing and we found out this morning, she had a heart attack. They were going to do catharization (prob spelled wrong) and half of her heart was 99% blocked and the other part was badly damaged, so she can't have bypass. Her age doesn't help her either, she's 87. Anyone else go through this? Please say a prayer for her recovery. Thanks!

Prayers for your aunt. Given her advanced age, it makes for a more difficult situation.

Thank you everyone for all of your prayers! We found out that she is going into heart failure actually. They told us she has a slight chance of recovery but only if everything else goes perfectly:( Thanks again for your prayers!

I'm truly sorry to hear this and hope that she will be just fine. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. My future father-in-law is in the hospital too.
He's been in and out of them since Sept. 4th when his one lung collapsed.
