I received this today from TVShowsonDVD.com. We can't get enough of our Mary! I hope this means that we are well on our way to getting all seasons of this show!

That's great news. One of my favorite episode of the entire series "Put on a Happy Face" is in season 3!

I love that episode, too. Isn't that the one where she wins a Teddy and she has a bad cold and her hair is a mess, etc? My favorite is "The Lars Affair," where SueAnn Nivens has an affair with Lars Lindstrom.

Yes, that's the episode. Every time I watch it I feel so sorry for Mary, who is usually perfect . There is a TDVDS association in that ep too. I don't remember his name, but the guy who played the lunch wagon man in a couple episodes ("When a Bowling Pin Talks, Listen" is one) makes an appearance as the dry cleaner who ruined Mary's Teddy Awards gown.

The Lars Affair is great too. I always had love/hate feelings towards Sue Ann!!

That would be Herbie Faye, one of the great character actors. He cracks me up!

Me too, Lolac,
He's great in everything he does, and I see him a lot on the local classic TV channel here. He was most recently in a Twilight Zone ep, which then doubly reminded me of TDVDS!

One of my favorite lines from TDVDS is delivered by Herbie Faye. I believe it is from the episode "Where Did I Come From." He is in the office trying to sell his wares, when Mel comes into the office:

Mel: "Why is it everywhere I go, I run into you?!"
Herbie: "Kismet!"

He also had some great lines as a juror in "One Angry Man".

"Nine million people in New York and I have to be on the same jury with Clarence Darrow. WE'RE NOT MAKING A MOVIE HERE MR. HENRY FONDA!" :happyface

Are you referring to the TZ fifth season ep "A Kind of Stopwatch"? He played the bartender whose bar was emptied out every night by the obnoxious guy McNulty, who acquired a stopwatch that could stop time. In another TDVDS coincidence, McNulty was played by Richard Erdman, who played Buck Brown in "Baby Fat".

Holy smokes, Jehobden,
You're right! I totally missed that!
