Pavan 10-16-2005, 10:06 PM Awesome episode!! My favorite of the season!! So funny and a lot of twists that made S1 so good. No Betty and her son in this episode though.
Caffeine King 10-16-2005, 10:08 PM No Betty= a much better episode!
Tonight's episode started off a tad better then the previous episodes so far from this season but ended up getting better and better as the episode went on.
Too bad Betty isn't a recurring character...though it's not too late to kill her off (:p I don't like her!)
Her not being in tonight's episode and it being a much better episode without her validates my point of offically not liking her.
Susan running with the ice creams and getting it all over her was just stupid. Just drop them!!!
George is an ass...looks like he brainwashed Bree to ship him back off to that camp. :2mad
bte, I'm wondering who puts salt on a watermelon when they're eating one and uses a fork and knife too? Bree used a fork & knife while eating one, as did George and he put salt (maybe it was sugar) onto his watermelon. Either or, in my opinion I think that's a bit...odd.
Next week looks like another absence of Betty. Bonus! :D
Brent88 10-16-2005, 10:11 PM I LOVED IT... best of the season by far.
I think Betty is in next week's episode... who the guy in the basement is is supposed to be revealed. Just because you don't see her in the preview means nothing.
I hope Andrew kills George. I really do.
 at Gabrielle.
I thought the imaginary friend thing was boring but the ending was priceless. :p
GoldenFamilyTies 10-16-2005, 10:11 PM The episode was lots better... a big improvement.
But is it just me, or are there looooooooots of commercials? Ick.
Pavan 10-16-2005, 10:12 PM You're complaining about Susan not dropping the ice cream, lol? How would it be funny if she would just drop it? She was more worried about getting to Zach, I guess there was no time to drop it, and plus she paid for the ice cream.
I think George put sugar on the watermelon. I think Betty will be in the next episode and I think there is a big twist regarding the person in the basement.
vashti1999 10-16-2005, 10:14 PM Wow, I must have been watching a different episode. So far, this season isn't living up to the promise of last season. We need more Betty, more Edie, more housewives together, less jail visits.

1. No
2. Yes
3. Not sure on this one... I don't "miss" them getting together
4. Tonight was funny
We need less of Lynette and her annoying boss... although next week, looks, ummm... entertaining. :p
Caffeine King 10-16-2005, 10:31 PM Oy vey. My interest in Lynnette's storyline looks like it'll crash & burn come next week...
I want Lynnette back home popping pills. Now. :(
How would it be funny if she would just drop it?
It wouldn't I think it'd just make more sense to chuck it somewhere instead of getting it all over herself, chasing somebody in the end she doesn't even care about. I dunno just annoyed me. :p
spunkygirl 10-16-2005, 10:36 PM Is this episode going to repeat? My stupid DVR didn't record the first half of it
Skywalker 10-16-2005, 10:38 PM The best episode of the season so far! The scene where Andrew and George were talking at the dinner table was hilarious. The only thing I didn't care for was the imaginary friend storyline.
vashti1999 10-16-2005, 10:42 PM 1. No
What do you mean no? Betty's barely been on the show so far as it is. Basically the only thing we know after episode 4 of the season that we didn't know at the start of episode 1 is that there's a black guy chained in her basement. While they're treading water with Gabrielle/Carlos and Lynnette/Parker, they could at least advance the Betty storyline quicker than they are.

Well... she's the "prevailing" mystery this season which means it's gonna move S-L-O-W... and I'll tell you, there better be a twist to it, because it doesn't look all that interesting as of now, and it's downright creepy.
Mr. Television 10-16-2005, 11:12 PM The best episode of the season so far! The scene where Andrew and George were talking at the dinner table was hilarious. The only thing I didn't care for was the imaginary friend storyline.
That was my favorite part too. I never really liked Andrew but I got a new respect for him now. I hate George and want him to a die a long painful death.

Yeah, I never really cared for him either but after tonight, he's quickly becoming one of my favorite characters.
TVJunkie101 10-17-2005, 08:58 AM Wow, everyone loved this episode? LOL.
It wasn't the best, honestly. It was good but, eh....
Loved all the storylines though. I guess I was probably the only one who really enjoyed the Lynette story?
vashti1999 10-17-2005, 09:49 AM Wow, everyone loved this episode?
Not everyone, if you saw my post.
TVJunkie101 10-17-2005, 11:57 AM Whoops, vashti, I guess I *did* miss your post, LOL!
Sorry about that ...
Brent88 10-17-2005, 12:02 PM Loved all the storylines though. I guess I was probably the only one who really enjoyed the Lynette story?
The end was hilarious. Before that though I thought it was BORING.
15.8/23 in the fast nationals... once again, easily #1.
Caffeine King 10-17-2005, 06:33 PM I thought it was funny how Tom was like "well maybe we could call 911..." and Lynnette was like "no...she's dead."
Mr. Television 10-17-2005, 06:36 PM I thought it was funny how Tom was like "well maybe we could call 911..." and Lynnette was like "no...she's dead."
Caffeine King 10-17-2005, 11:07 PM It was the best of the season, but still not quite as good as most of Season 1. The Applewhite storyline seems forced, hopefully the reasoning for their being on Wisteria Lane will connect to one of the housewives.
I'm more on the optimistic side for an ode to Pink Flamingos ;)
Betty is keeping female hitchhikers down there, has her son get them pregnant, then they sell the babies to lesbian couples. Then she invests the money into her inner city elementary school heroin ring. You never know...
That'd be a real twist and it'd make Betty my new favorite housewife.
I say the writer ditch whatever sh*tty idea they have with Betty's basement thing because I'm not at all optimistic with that. So ditch whatever they're half ass writing about and do the ode to Pink Flamingos.
I'm sure John Waters would be honored.
Coffeecup 10-18-2005, 02:29 PM I thought the Episode was ok. I miss Felicia Tilman. I didn't really laugh much or think what's to happen next. Other than George latching on to Bree the episode didn't have much pep. I am waiting to see if the doctor and detectives find out what caused Rex's death.
IAlsoLoveRaymond 10-19-2005, 12:12 PM I think I understand what some are saying about the slow start now. Is it just me or have Carlos and Gabrielle mellowed this year?
