View Full Version : The spinoff "Grady" should be the only S&S spinoff released on DVD because......

it lasted more than 4 eps and there were guest appearances from all the Sanford and Son Cast Members except Lamont. I wonder why that was but anyway this spinoff would be a better buy with Guest appearances from Fred, Bubba, Esther, Woody, and Rollo. The other Sanford and Son spinoff -"Sanford Arms" is not really worth putting on DVD because it has Esther has the lead character and I don't think I need to say anymore after that-lol I idn't mention Sanford because it wasn't a S&S spinoff but I wouldn't mind seeing on DVD. But I hope that Grady is released, my fingers are crossed.

BTW: The Opening Theme Song for the Spinoff Grady is GREAT!!!!!!!

I think the chances of seeing "Grady" released on DVD is as good as seeing your beloved "CPO Sharkey". Which is slim to none.

Why would it be slim if the parent show is complete on DVD, and the Show was aired on TV LAND in 2002? Plus there are Guest Appearances on Grady by Fred, and the other Sanford and Son Gang. I wouldn't say Slim.

For the last time, if the MAIN CHARACTER is involved is never considered a spinoff.

Wait, first u said if the main character is involved, it's not a spin-off, then u answered Brian's post with "it isn't mentioned anywhere as a spin-off". Brian was asking where does your initial statement come from?

Nice try Solomon, but you also sent this site an email that Good Times was not a spinoff and he turned you down.

I had to check the site because I think he mentioned my name and said something about Good Times not being spinoff.

Brian I talked to Tom and we both agreed that Sanford was not a Spinoff, it was a continuation in a "NEW FORM". Now I know u can't disagree with that

Sanford Arms AND Sanford, neither one were spinoffs. BOTH were conitunations of Sanford and Son with a change in the name.
