Who's your fav. character on Roseanne and why?

mine is Aunt Jackie and then Bev because they both were hilarious and some times annoying but lovable characters.

Roseanne and Jackie were treated their mother cruely and Bev treated them the same. It was funny to me.

my favourite character is darlene, she definetley has the best lines

I thought that Jackie was great; but I loved Darlene, because she was such a screw-up in the beginning and then she became the scholar who was a very talented writer, taking after her mother, Roseanne.

John Goodman, who plays Dan O'Conner. He's obviously the most talented of the bunch.

Laurie Metcalf ("Jackie") is definetly talented too, as good as J. Goodman I should say.

Anyhow my point is, that Goodman has done the most Movies/shows as opposed to other members. Plus he is just flat out hilarious.

If I were to choose the order of talent on that show by rank, it would be:

1) John Goodman ("Dan")

2) Rosanne Arquette (during early shows only)
2) Laurie Metcalf ("Jackie")

4) Alicia Goranson ("Becky" #1)
4) Sara Gilbert ("Darlene")

6) Shelley Winters ("Nana Mary")

7) Ned Betty (Dan's Pop)

8) Natalie West ("Crystal")

9) Estelle Parsons ("Beverly", Rosanne's mom)

10) Micheal Fishman ("DJ")

My favorite character is Becky. She was really great. I think Lecy Goranson was the better Becky, but Sarah Chalke was ok.

Jackie because she's so Wackie! She cracked me up when she was the next door neighbor in the "That's My Rosie" episode.

Mother Harris by far! She was irritating in a funny way, and Roseanne and Jackie were able to tolerate her! In the episode where she's helping a very pregnant Jackie decorate the baby's nursery, she said she picked wallpaper that had clowns because they were cute. But the way Beverly says "clowns, clowns, I love them, etc." is such a classic!

Jackie and Nana Mary

Darlene by far was the best character because she, as a character, grew up the most out of anyone on the show. She also made the series great whit all of the lines she had and the way she presented them to the audience.

I am ranking the cast members in order of likeability and/or funniness:

Ive been searching and searching and i cant seem to find the poem at the very end of the final episode of Roseanne. The one where the accapella theme song is going on and she sits on the couch. A poem comes up. Does anyone know the name of this poem. Thanks. Also anyone know where i can get that song at the very of the show also. Thanks for your help.

Bev and Roseanne. Bev b/c she can be very annoying but she is still funny at times. And Roseanne b/c she is the orginal Desperate Housewife!

Darlene.. she's the best and so funny

1.) Roseanne ( Because she is honest about what she says)
2.) Darlene ( Like her mother, she doesn't tolerate any bullsh*t and will tell you like it is!)
3.) Molly ( She rebellious, cute, funny and she and Darlene have terrific chemistry together)
4.) Dan ( He is hard working, and loves his wife and kids)
5.) Becky # 1 ( Because she was bratty, intelligent and managed a decent relationship with Rosie!)
6.) Mark ( Because while he may not have been a genius, he was smart in his own right)
7.) Jackie ( She have made a lot of mistakes in her life but she never gave up no matter what)
8.) Nana Mary ( Because she is a sassy grandmother!)
9.) Charlotte ( Because she was sweet, innocent, and who Roseanne really cared for.)
10.) D.J ( Seasons 1-5) ( Because he was cutier, funnier when he was little and less when he was older)
