Given my personal team loyalties (Cubs, Red Sox), and given the possibility of New York beating the Angels

...in a potential ALCS matchup, would I rather cheer for the Yankees...or the White Sox?

Last year the Redsox ended the curse, maybe this year the White Sox can end their jinx. They haven't won it since 1917 and seem to have been punish for decades over the 1919 Black Sox incident :lol:

Oh yeah, I remember something about that, but all you ever hear(ed) about are the curses of the Red Sox and the Cubs. 88 years is quite a drought. Wouldn't it be something if they decided to throw the World Series this year? Haha.

Very dissapointed, although I am happy to see the season END. I get my husband back. I'm always happy to see it go.

I'd like to see the White Sox and the Astros.

As a Yankee fan, I was relieved. I wouldn't be able to stand yet another series with the dreaded Red Sox. lol Not that the Yanks are going to get that far, because they have their own problems with the Angels.

I still think the Yankees have enough to win in 5 with the Angels. FOX sure hopes so, they don't want the White Sox vs. the Angels in the ALCS, lol. Imagine if they had the White Sox. vs. the Astros in the World Series, nightmare for FOX.

I believe the Yankees can beat the Angels too, but the Angels have the upper hand right now. The Yankees pitching has to be near perfect in today's game and I don't think Chacon has pitched against the Angels this year. The Yankees also have to rely heavily on hitting power when it comes to playing the Angels. If the Yankees get eliminated today, it will still be comforting to know that Boston's out of it too ;)
