i live in ny and we have a huge parade that happens every year that we participate in the village. everyone usually gets pretty wild and creative. we've been a hit every year. THIS YEAR, i would like to take advantage of my obsession with Good Times.

We are going to go as JJ & Penny. We originally wanted to do the whole cast but not everyone is dependable, so we scrapped it.

I need help on the details and what better place to ask than right HERE?!

My husband is very tall and lean, so he can pull it off. We have a vintage Dynomite tshirt, some old school converse and some bell bottom type jeans. I'm going to make him wear some kind of scarf and the most important piece, the denim fisherman cap (any suggestions where I can find one of these?). He'll also carry a paintbrush.

I'm kind of stuck on Penny. I'm going to put my hair in little pigtails with some cheap looking ribbon, put a bandaid on my forehead, get some ratty sweater to wear, some old school maryjanes, some socks that i'll pull up to my knees and carry a beat up looking doll. But i'm stumped on what to wear as my outfit?

Let me know if we've covered the bases or if you think there i anything else we should add. I haven't posted her in awhile, I've missed it.

For Penny, you could wear some overalls but the kind that's made with shorts instead on the long pant type.
