i've often wondered why they didn't change the default "friend" when Myspace was bought out - I think that it would be cool to have an emo-Rupert Murdoch on everyone's friend list :thumbsup:

i believe there is more to the deal than just Myspace.com - Foxnewscorp actually bought the parent company; there is probably more detail to it than that, but there is no way in hell I am going to read the entire details of that boring article...

i don't really understand why people compare myspace with livejournal. myspace is for meeting people, LJ is a journal. they have different purposes. i use myspace mostly for keeping in touch with people from school and LJ for writing about things i don't want most people to see. there are plenty of differences.
