Who would have watched a spinoff about Schneider?-lol That was a stupid idea to spin him off. If anything I would think a better spinoff would have been spinning off valerie bertillini's character. I just donlt like Schneider at all after seeing several ODAAT eps. I just always had a problem with a middle age man on a sitcom being who was goofy.

I was never too crazy about Schneider, but he was a lot more tolerable than Alex and those geeky husbands of the girls.

I never saw his trademark walk-in-the-front-door- without-knocking thing not very funny. Hmmm....that probably got old after the first episode! I guess they needed at least one male character to stay throughout the show.

A spin-off with Schneider would've been terrible. Not a very wise move. It would've lasted two months. I don't think the character would've been strong enough to float his own show. Also Corey Feldman probably would've been in it. That's another thought that makes me shudder!

I agree. A finale should never be a pilot for a spinoff. It takes away from the original series.

I agree, they could have had the pilot for the Schneider spinoff before the ODAAT Finale. Spin Schneider off first and then the Finale

I would've shelved the ODAAT finale. If I was the head of CBS it wouldn't make it on the air. So anyway, did Schneider move out of the building?
