kay, at the end of the two-parter where J.J. gets arrested. Thelma tells him that he lost his job at the carrier place. They all blamed it on the computers that told James his credit was bad. But something is wrong with that scenario. Let's back up a bit here?

As you can see, Thelma MESSED UP BIG TIME with J.J.'s job. She went to the office telling the lady why J.J. couldn't come in, and she was saying that J.J. had a "24-hour bug or a 72-hour bug if he couldn;t find a good Lawyer- a mean Doctor". That SLIP UP told the lady that J.J. was in jail. It wasn't a computer that did it, it was IB Thelma. She was on the roll until she slipped up saying "Lawyer" instead of "Doctor". And she never really knew that J.J. was in the clear until it was too late. But anyway, that's my observation.

Nice try, but I don't think so.

Thelma may just have misspoke when she said "lawyer", the lady shouldn't have jumped to conclusions from a mistake. Plus, just because you need a lawyer don't necessarily mean you're actually in jail.

Didn't she say she saw it in the computer system???

Thelma said the lady told her they knew abt JJ being in jail. She never said via the computer. It was James who said "Awww man, them jive computers" something like that. But it wasn't Thelma's fault abt JJ losing the job. As a matter of fact, the lady told Thelma "How long will your brother be in jail?". Thelma just looked at her in silence. So the above post is totally incorrect.
