Chris Noth returned to full duty on last night's Criminal Intent - he appeared in a few scenes on last week's season premiere, but he was mainly there to fill out his paperwork, set up his desk and poke around the place a bit. He wasn't involved with the main storyline with Goren and Eames.

It's really great to have Mike Logan back. I would have preferred he go back to the original L&O, this time as the senior partner to replace Jerry Orbach, but this is good. I think Annabella Sciorra will be a good partner for Noth...time will reveal.

I think we're in for a treat with alternating episodes with Logan and Goren.

It is good to see him back, but have you noticed how much Chris Noth has aged??? He is still as edgy as he was when he started in this roll. LOVE IT!

I would have liked to see him back before but now he feels awkward. His old role in the original just felt more natural and had more chemistry

I know what you mean. Still, it's better than no Logan at all. He and Lennie Briscoe had a great chemistry with those rapid-fire one-liners. Plus, he was younger and more cocky.

But I think he's supposed to be a bit more older and jaded. Many years on the force would do that to a veteran cop. Just look at Lennie.

Since I much prefer him on the original L & O, I'd rather not see him at all. I hope Vincent D'onofrio gets over his exhaustion come next season so he can appear on every episode.

You know what I'd like instead? Noth can go back to the original and team up with Martin. I don't know if the pair would be ideal, but it'd be a heck of a lot better than Farina.
