I don't remember the pre-Barnabas episodes very well, but it seemed like Maggie was a BLONDE tough talking gum chewing waitress at the inn at the start. Did she have a wig or was her hair bleached? Anybody know why they changed her character? I think the change was probably for the best.

I just saw the very first episode yesterday for the first time. It was a trip because they included the original commercials. LOL! Anyway, I thought the same thing. She did seem like her character was "tough." I thought what's going on here????? Because when Vicky arrives at the hotel and is waiting for a cab to go out to Collinwood, she goes into the restaurant and Maggie is there and they get into a conversation and she calls Vicky a jerk. LOL! And then gives Vicky a piece of apple pie. LOL! :lol: Personally, though, Maggie looked much better with her hair cut short in these earlier episodes, IMHO. :D She looked hotter than hot!;)

KLS has said they changed Maggie made her more educated,softened her look made her more refined etc.so she would fit in better at Collinwood.

I didn't like the wig either it was better when she looked more like herself.

Her long dark hair made her look really pretty.
