Here's something I made from my experience of watching old films.
In 1965, this is what The Munsters looked like.
In 1975, the original film still looked pretty good.
In 1985, you can see signs of age.
In 1995, the film really get's grainy, and too much contrast has developed on the film.
By 2005, the film is terribly deteriorated, and also brittle.
By 2015, the film is so grainy, and so high in contrast, even modern remastering techniques may not restore the picture to its original beauty.
