Really have been super busy - job's going very well and I've been given a couple of large, fairly high-profile projects and I want to make a good impression of course, so between that, and the hour commute one way, it's really been taking up my time. Very fast-paced place and you even eat lunch at your desk and try to work - I won't complain tho - they pay for lunch and you have a selection from about 7 different places every day. I was able to pop in for a minute the other day at work while eating, but didn't sign on or post. Just wanted to see what was up with everyone. Bri - you've got to fill me in a bit on Survivor and The Apprentice even.....I had them on the other night, but was only paying half attention since I was working. The week before, there was a blackout, so I missed them then too! Besides that, we lost our DishNet, so I'm down to BASIC Canadian cable - a fate almost as bad as being forced to watch reruns of The Trouble With Tracy or Lawrence Welk!!!!! I don't get home until at least 6 p.m., and by the time I get critters fed, dinner ready and then eaten, do a bit of housework and maybe some office work, I'm beat and ready for bed. Been getting up at 4:30 again too! At least I'm enjoying the job and seem to fit in well enough.

They have a full service kitchen, and put out 2% milk creamers and 10% cream. I don't like either, so I bought my own litre of 1% milk for my tea and wrote my name on it with a Sharpie. A few days go by, and things are fine, and then I notice my milk going down faster than I know I'm using it.
Sure enough, next time I go for it, it's almost empty - not even enough for my tea. I crackoff to some chick in there with me, and she says, "Oh well, they ran out of those creamers." Yep - back on the Big Hamster Wheel of Life I'm afraid! On the computer about 12 hours a day, and even though I miss you guys greatly, it's cold in the area of our computer at home so not much fun freezing the fingers longer. Plus, I was on so much that my neck and back were suffering from it. Forced to take breaks. Besides, so much good reality t.v. lately I've even had to TVo it. Hoping to redecorate soon where I'll move the workstation to a better area for working in.

How've you been? Keeping out of trouble?

Hey Toots! LOL about the Malox! Naw - they transferred the main suspect in the case...but everytime he comes back, the milk goes down fast again and now I get paranoid that he's spitting in it cuz I wrote on the side once "To the thief who keeps using my milk - hope you enjoyed it since I spit in it!!!" (not one of my wiser moves I suppose.....)

Now I just order it with my bosses name on it so nobody touches it!!! nuuck nuuck nuuck! Wussy bastards!

Now known as the Corporate Clown at the job. Boss is cool so he lets me make wisecracks in my email announcements and everybody seems to like it. Breaks up the stress and monetony.

Actually got jealous of ya Mel - dropped in on Harper's thread around Christmas and he just IGNORED ME!!! Imagine!!! He's hooked on you now....sniff. Still a great guy and love reading his threads. Glad you're able to get him some pics. I've searched the video stores and just can't find anything on Jem, etc.. Must be a Canadian ban on that right wing stuff. Now that we've had a government changeover I'm sure it'll be back tho!! :lol:
