TV Characters we love so much will never really die as long as there are reruns and DVD, this is how they go on living in our eyes and dont you just love it that way?

Interesting that you say that. I visited my Dad today who passed away three years ago. I still miss him a lot. He was sick for the last 14 years of his life and three of the shows we used to watch and laugh with together were All in the Family, M*A*S*H, and Get Smart.

What sometimes makes me feel better about someone passing is that their spirit is still with you. My Dad wasn't able to care for himself much in those final years, years of my own personal growth where the advice of a loving Father was really needed, and I feel now that he is in a place where he can help me.

I sometimes feel with the loss of other loved ones that they are not really gone, they've just moved away somewhere and we don't really keep in touch anymore. That may sound a little strange but how many people like that do most of us have in our lives.

With old shows, the ones we all love, they are a capsule in time where many of these people were at the top of their game, and like any good memory we can revisit critical moments when we need a good laugh or a good cry.
