Does anybody remember The Rerun Show? They did a spoof of One Day at a Time, and Ann Romano was portrayed by a black guy (!). He went running around in an orangish-reddish wig made up to look like her early bowl-cut bangs hairdo she had in the early episodes. Who was this comedian?

I don't know who it was because I never saw it but I hope it's aired again. That sounds like it was hilarious.

I think the show was on NBC back in '02, and it did not last very long. VH-1 showed it for a little while, but it has been quite a long time. Heck, why don't they just release it on DVD? I mean every show that lasted only 10 episodes gets a release? Never mind the shows that nearly lasted a decade right?

LOL, sad but true, btw, now the smilies won't work for me, good thing I know the old fashioned text ways.

I remember watching the sketch. I could've swore that Ann was played by a black woman, not a black man.

I think you're probably right. For some reason I'm thinking a Martin Lawrence wannabe type was playing Ann. I thought the person had a moustache, but I can't remember correctly now. I only saw the show once.

I have almost all the Rerun episodes on tape. I really liked that show.
The One Day at A Time Spoof episode they did was "Pressure".
Barbra was thinking about being intimate with her boyfriend.
Ann/Bonnie Franklin was played by a black actress comedian named
Daniele Gaither. Hope that helps.
