View Full Version : Tell us about your first girlfriend/boyfriend you had
Ireneparalegal 09-28-2005, 06:07 PM This is the next step in the thread that began with when did you get/receive your first kiss.
My first boyfriend I had was when I was 14. He wasn't the first guy I kissed, but he was my first boyfriend because he actually asked me to be his girlfriend. He was my cousin's boyfriend, but one day when she brought him over to my house to hang out, I could tell he kept looking at me, staring at me, but I didn't know why. My cousin broke up with him weeks later cuz she said that she had a feeling he liked me and she wasn't putting up with that crap. Weeks later, he came by my school and told me he had a crush on me and it was best he didn't see my cousin since he felt like this towards me. It was hard keeping this fact from her. I don't know if to this day she ever knew we were going out. We only lasted abt 5 months, because my dad said I was too young to have any boyfriends, so sadly, I had to break up with him. I felt really bad for him, even his mom came over to try and talk my dad into letting us remain a couple, but my dad said NO! As a matter of fact, every now and then we happen to see each other whenever I am out driving somewhere and there he is waving at me. I think he still likes me. He went into this place I used to work at and sometimes he didn't buy anything, he just went in to say "hi". but now when I look at him, he is not the person I wish to have ended up with.
My first girlfriend was also my last girlfriend. We dated briefly in 1987, then again for a short time in 2002.
I will never make that mistake again, not matter how good she looked wearing one of my shirts.
;)
Nighthawk76 09-28-2005, 07:03 PM Well, my first girlfriend was my only girlfriend. Her name was Erica. I know I have mentioned her before in threads around here. I asked her to the Homcoming dance in 1991 (sophomore year) after having liked her since 6th grade. The dance went really well, better then I could have ever dreamed. We dated for neary three years, but she died of cancer during the summer of 1994 (right after we graduated). She was really sweet, funny and an overall good person and I really miss her. I have gone on dates since '94 but I haven't had another serious relationship. I guess girls just don't like me. Even the ones that do, get over me really quickly. :(

Oh Dax, I am so sorry, that is really really sad to read. I am really sorry and want to give you my condolences on that. What a very sad thing to have happened. :(
GARFIELDKOOL 09-28-2005, 07:36 PM My first girlfriend name was Kizzy. We were both 14. We were 10 days apart in age. (she was older) We met in 7th grade, but I didn't pay her any attention until 8th. That's when she told her best friend she liked me. I was quiet in 7th grade and I was surprised any girl was interested in me. So at 14, the most we could do was talk on the phone to each other. we couldn't really do much. The only thing we did together was go to an amusement park. Her mother was real strict and kind of sheltered her. One day I showed up unexpectantly to her house during summer vacation. Her mother was at work and I really surprised her to the point where she told me to leave. LOL I just wanted to come in because me and her never kissed and I never came inside of her home. But, next year we broke up and remained friends. It was puppy love.
~LadyJess~ 09-28-2005, 08:37 PM My first boyfriend is my current boyfriend. His name is Anthony and he is 21. We worked at the same place over the summer, I was in guest services and he was security. He has been friends with my brother since last summer so he told my brother that he liked me. Apparently they talked about me a lot because my brother came home one day telling me I better date him. Well I always thought he was a nice guy and that he was cute so I decided to give it a go. We went out on a date and it went really well. He asked me to be his girlfriend a week later and being that it was only a month ago that's the end of the story.

Living In a '70's Dream 09-28-2005, 09:50 PM My first boyfriend (lover) was a popular, local radio station DJ; he was 13 years older than I and I was completely ga ga go go over him. He gave me my first lover and made me into a woman. The relationship did not last very long and now he works at one of the local television stations in the LA area.
Pitooey 09-28-2005, 10:04 PM My 1st boyfriend was 15. He was in my high school and I was "In LOVE" (?).
Anyway...... after 2 months I broke up with him. He got married soon after and my heart sank way down low. I saw him again 3 years later and we spoke and he told me he had a daughter but that he still cared about me So............ stupid me started to see him again. Until his wife called me on the phone to tell me off.
After that I went my own way (heartbroken still). Then one day I was in the subway and he saw me and came over to me and told me "I'm sorry"........ That was it.... I never saw him again.

Brian 09-28-2005, 11:24 PM I don't have a girlfriend and have never had one. It doesn't matter, though. I'm focusing on my academics for the next few years.
I have had quite a few friends that were girls (just friends).

That saying is true. I always thought it was a bunch of bull that people just said to make single people feel better, but I have to admit it's true.
Heart Shaped Box 09-29-2005, 10:53 PM My first boyfriend was actually at the end of 4th grade. I remember how this one girl made us hold hands at recess. But in the beginning of 5th grade we broke up for some reason but then got back together. Even though he was my first boyfriend, we had a lot of breakups in one year. We would always sit together in class though and hang out at recess. I even remember going to his birthday party and I was the only girl there :p and we both sat on the same chair with a blanket.
All in all I'd say he was a pretty good boyfriend, though he could be a little bit rude sometimes when he wanted to but I thought he was really sweet. Anyway I dumped him in at the end of 5th grade to go out with one of my best guy friends (stupid me, huh?). I ended up dumping him too and wanting to go back out with my first boyfriend but he said he didn't know because we were all going into middle school and there might be people there he might like.
Now in middle school I went out with him again for a few days but I dumped him again for another guy (stupid me..again). But we're still friends to this day and I'm glad we are. We're both taken, but if I found out he still likes me, I might take him back. :)
Mijada 10-01-2005, 06:18 PM I didn't get my first boyfriend till I was 18. His name was Will and we met at the mall. He was 26 at the time. He treated me very well, was very much the gentleman and respected the fact that I was still a virgin and didn't ever pressure me to go "all the way" My mom liked him too. We dated for about a year and a half. Towards the end of the relationship he started talking about marriage and kids. At his age he wanted to settle down and I didn't because I still had college to finish. I still lived at home and my mom wanted me to learn to live on my own and be independant before I got married (One of the few pieces of good advice she gave me). He also was sort of unstable, went from job to job, wasn't interested in continuing his education even though he was a very smart guy. Besides all that he had had a few minor scrapes with the law and that scared me a bit and I was reluctant to marry him. We ended up going our separate ways but we stayed in touch and remained on good terms. Even to this day I still see him now and then and have many fond memories of him.
Michael [hXc] 10-01-2005, 06:22 PM that's really nice Mijada :)
angel676 10-02-2005, 05:31 PM I had my first boyfriend when I was 15 years old. He's name was Mark. I met him through a friend at a dance. We were dating almost a whole year. I'm glad I didn't give all of myself to him, I wanted to but I was scared to, but after almost a whole year he found some younger tramp and broke up with me.
YoliUSA 10-03-2005, 04:19 PM I had my first "boyfriend" when I was 10  . Does that count??
