I was going through an old UM taped off of NBC and there was an update that a fugitive disc jockey Elvin (or Alvin) Jones had been captured thanks to viewers tips. He was wanted for the murder of his wife. It may have been a special alert. Does anyone remember this segment?

Another interesting thing about this particular update. They actually stopped the music at the beginning of the UM episode to give the update and said they would give more details on a future broadcast then continued on with the music. Strange....I've never seen them do that before.

Yes, I too have seen the update, but I have no clue when the original story was featured. It was an odd update though. Right smack dab in the opening.
