I remember hearing about how Jake In Progress was renewed. Well, we're in the new season and I haven't seen a thing about a season premiere or anything, so it leads me to wonder if ABC did to this what Fox did to Tru Calling last season, they surprisingly renewed it but then decided to scrap it and cancelled the show after only a few new episodes were produced and didn't air them until late season as a replacement. Did ABC do this too, because I remember people didn't expect it to be renewed, but now that we're in the new season, I'm not seeing anything toting the return

ABC scheduled to air it on Mondays after MNF is over, probably in January.

Aye, it is set for a midseason return. No reason to worry just yet. Several articles pertaining to John Stamos and his two episodes on ER this fall mention Jake in Progress returning in January.

I think that the only reason they renewed it was to hurt E/R

i mean the show was a total bomb and critical flop too

and then Stamos films 2 eps of E/R and they offer him a regular role, and then at the last minute a rival network decides to renew a flop show?

maybe they were afriad Stamos could help pull E/R up in the ratings so they would rather waste $ on a sure flop than risk it??
