It would've been nice to see a grown man's struggle with transitions in life rather than a noodle boy that screamed, "Dynomite!!!"

I think you hate J.J. because he reminds you too much of yourself. We all know you're stupid. Are you ugly too? No offense.

James wins hands down. I wish he'd remained on the show. It would have made for some interesting stories.

I will say this for James; he sometimes was a good reactor to J.J.'s comedy. Some of the few moments with James that were actually funny was when he was acting like a frustrated parent instead of a bully on steroids. I found his exasperation at J.J.'s "Good night, John Boy" when he, J.J., and Michael were all in the same bed to be hilarious. A lot of times comedians like Jimmie Walker need a straight man to play off of. Still, I think the show was much better off without James (J.J. or no J.J.)

But, you talked about his absence in detail.

Retro:

"I know and the difference between Rent Party and That's Entertainment, Evans Style, was that in rent party there was an explanation for his absence, in Last night episode there was no mention of him at all"

It wasn't that much detail, i just said he wasn't mentioned, i only remembered because Brian damage said something about it.

That is true tho, I didn't reailze he was missing either, but that's mostly in the 5th & 6th seasons where he wasn't as fun anyway, so there wasn't too much to miss.
