I'm tied between Orson Welles and George Reeves. Orson and Lucy's adaptation of Romeo and Juliet is a classic! I watched The Adventures of Superman all the time when I was a kid and am happy the first season is finally coming out on DVD next month!

Honorable mention to Hans Conreid. I always enjoyed his performances on ILL, and as Uncle Tonoose on Make Room for Daddy.

A tie between William Holden because that is just a classic episode, and John Wayne because ... because it's the Duke!!! And according to Archie Bunker, John Wayne is what's good with America!

Bob Hope, Harpo Marx, and John Wayne.

Yeah, I thought of the same three. But wow, there were so many!

I always loved the way Lucy was able to play a star-struck woman whenever she was around "celebrities"... it's amazing how good she was when you consider that she was a bigger star than just about all of 'em.

one of my all time fav. guest star episode is TLDCH with betty grable and harry james "Lucy Wins a Racehorse". I laugh everytime. I think this is Vivan Vances' Best lucy episode to date. The scene where the horse is in the den and it neighs,

Ricky: What was that
Lucy: What was what
Ricky: It sounded like a horse
Fred: Oh that was ethel, shes been eating like a horse for so long she has begun to sound like one.
Ethel: Yea Rick, (she neighs) LOL

Lucy: Ethel will you get back there and push!
Ethel: Nothin doin. Im not going to stand here and get kicked.
Lucy: He wont kick you. Any friend of mine is a friend of his.
Ethel: yea but back here he cant tell if im a friend or an enemy.

I'll go with Bob Hope. I really like the ballpark scene in that episode, with Lucy as a hot dog vendor!
