That's the kind of scene that made the show for me. Just the cast sitting around and the writers letting them talk. "Noses Off", where Brian becomes vain about his nose, was on last night. He, Joe, Lowell, and Antonio are sitting around discussing who the most handsome man is:

Joe: Listen to this, you sound like a bunch of women in a beauty parlor. See you ladies later.

Antonio: Sylvester Stallone.

Joe stops and comes back: Now I dont see that at all.

Antonio: And who does Joe Hackett think?

Joe: Peter Jennings.

Antonio: Jennings couldn't hold Sly's jock. Stallone has wonderful features, expressive eyes that draw you in...(he notices all the guys staring at him). Well, not to me.

Lowell: If you ask me, Tom Petty.

Joe: Lowell, really? He's kind of a gawky lookin' guy.

Lowell: Couldn't me more wrong, Joe. When I look into that expressive face, I really feel his music........and I'd be willin' to fight any guy who didn't think so!

Brian: I've slept with a lot of women, and they seem to mention a very handsome guy named Kevin Costner.

Joe: Oh, okay, so when they're in bed with you they're talkin' about Kevin Costner?? They must be pretty bored.

Brian: They're not bored, ok they're not BORRRREED. It's because I remind them of him because we look so alike.

Lowell: That's funny, I don't seem to remember Costner having an unsightly bump on his nose.

I have to agree, I love when they let the characters do that...sort of like a Breakfast Club set up, you really do learn a lot about a character when that happens!
