1) He stopped saying "DYNOMIIIIIIIIIIIITE!" I was sad about this because I actually liked it when JJ said "dynomite." That was the catch phrase of the show.

2) He replaced "I knoooooooooooooooooow" with "well you know, what can I say?" I actually preferred "I knoooooooow" because he would always put on a dorky smile after he said it - pretty funny. It was a lot funnier to watch his facial expression after he said "I knoooooooooooow" than to watch him pat his mustache after saying "well you know, what can I say?"

3) He changed the way he answered the phone. Instead of saying "hellooooooooooooooooo" he started saying "chello!" I think it was funnier when he said "helloooooooooooooo."

Anyway, I wish JJ hadn't changed these things. They were what made him entertaining.

I am a fan for LIFE baby! I LOVED this show. I don't know why so many ppl had a problem with JJ. I actually liked his character a lot. To be honest, he was pretty boring when he got serious. I preferred him when he was DYNOMIIIIIIIIIIITE!

LOL-Let me rephrase that, when J.J. was TRYING to act serious in season 5 it was ridiculous. It was like he was trying so hard to be head of the house. Telling Michael he was gonna ground him was really corny.

1) I liked when he said DYN-O-MIIIITE!!!! too. But he did need to stop saying it in the fifth season, since they change his character.

2) I liked both of those, but I like "Well, you know, what can I say", better, cause that showed more confidence when someone gave him a complement in the way he did it, by stroking his mustache. when he did 'I knooooooow', sometimes it looked liked he was embarassed by the compliment with the way he would make those silly faces. IMO

3) I liked "helloooooooooooo" better than chello, cause they would have him doing a fake, exaggerated laugh, then all of a sudden stop, and answer the phone with "chello". Seemed too staged.

JJ was at his best during seasons 1 & 2. I liked Mr. Miguel the best of the newer JJ.

I have to say though that I loved when Willona called Michael, "Gramps." It just kind of fit the character of Michael Evans.

I liked Mr. Miguel too. I remember him yelling "Mr. Miguel" and throwing him a winter coat because someone had stolen Michael's. What was that episode about again?

Or how about when they were selling underwears and JJ referred to Michael as that. The funny part was when the old lady held up a pair of girls panties to Michael. I'm thinking, "Michael, why are you so upset about that"?

That episode when JJ yelled Mr. Miguuuueeeell, and threw him the winter coat was "Willona The Fuzz", when Willona was spying thru the two-way mirror in the ladies dressing room.

The strange thing about him calling Michael Mr. Miguel, it was never any reason shown or mentioned why he all of a sudden started calling him that

JJ didn't need a reason, he was just using his own nickname, that's what JJ did.
