I like when they insult each other with those sometimes funny words that you know the writers make up for them (fat sajak). Not their most memorable episode outside of that, but pretty good. They needed to do a bit more with Arthur's part in the episode. It wasn't quite as funny as it could have been. But mostly coming out this episode, I love how Leah looks! She's done an amazing job getting her figure back. I was about as vocal as anyone about her the last two years but I think she should be very proud of herself as she really looks amazing again. It must have been super hard work to do that. She looks stunning. I'm wondering when this ep was filmed in relation to the one that aired last week, because I didn't think she quite looked as good last week. It's like there was a month or so between filmings but that's probably not the case. Wonder what gives? jpcanes 09-26-2005, 09:20 PM episode was good.opening scene with Doug folding clothes was very funny. let's face it,Leah is a beautiful woman. :) also, wasn't the lady in scenes with Arthur tonight the lady who played on "The Facts Of Life"? the truth 09-26-2005, 10:04 PM Don't think so but I'm not sure. But the guy playing the shrink tonight was the same guy who ran the group in the ep. where Doug goes in for his eating disorder but ends up in a group for abused husbands. That was last year right? From the first scene, I noticed how much better she looked. When she was on Ellen, she still said she had some more to lose, but she does look great again. Yep, that was Charlotte Rae, who played Mrs. Garrett on FOL. Samme 09-26-2005, 11:54 PM I thought this was a great step up from the first episode. Everyone was really sharp and Leah is looking better. It's also great to see Arthur in two episodes in a row and his scenes were all very funny. Stuff like Doug saying he can "slip slut back in his holster" if Carrie doesn't want to give up calling him fat strikes me as such a unique and funny little phrase that maybe Kevin came up with that one himself. It's such a small twist on a normal line that it shows real effort put into the smallest thing. And that's a good sign for the show. glenny 09-27-2005, 08:58 AM I wonder if there arguing would be a continuing plot line for future episodes? Kristen81 09-27-2005, 09:30 AM I thought last nights episode was much better than the first, I felt like they were more in tune with each other. The best part was when they were saying all the names on the list... J.R. 09-27-2005, 01:50 PM It was decent. I liked last week's much better. It's good to see them make up at the end. That's something I just feel has been missing the past couple of seasons. I don't care how Leah looks. If it makes her happy, big or small, so be it. seven_to_shea 09-28-2005, 02:24 PM Slightly preferred it over the premiere. Doug and Carrie were obnoxious throughout and seemed content with themselves at the end. Oh well. Arthur's first scene where he casts the play is one of the funniest things I have seen on this show for a while; brilliant. That alone makes me give it a thumbs up. sneeug 09-29-2005, 09:14 PM My sister's TV died during the episode. She wants to know what the actress in the play said happened to her when she was five years old. This seems to be extremely important to her as she is battling some personal issues. Hope you can help. Thanks. jpcanes 09-29-2005, 10:11 PM My sister's TV died during the episode. She wants to know what the actress in the play said happened to her when she was five years old.
