Hey Everyone...
Does anyone else recall this show and is the reason we haven't seen it in years that its true that in those days they re-used and recorded over it?
Thanks...

I remember Liar's Club! There were three incarnations of this game which featured a celebrity panel that gave descriptions of an unusual object and the contestants had to guess which celebrity was telling the truth.
The first version aired in syndication in 1969 with Rod Serling as host. Another version was syndicated in 1976, hosted by Bill Armstrong, who was replaced the following season by Allen Ludden. The last syndicated version aired around 1988 with Eric Boardman as host. This version was produced in Vancouver.
Betty White frequently appeared on the first two versions of Liar's Club. This show would be perfect for Comedy Central since whoever is producing can book four celebrities who can give at least some humorous descriptions of an object. It's also a very simple format.

This an entire episode of "Liar's Club" with Rod Serling on the Twilight Zone: Season 1 Definitive Edition on the bonus disc. It looks like a pretty good show. Betty White was on the panel in this one.
