A website that has not been around for a couple of years is Yesterdayland.com This was one of my favorite sites and I wish it was still around. There were pages on TV shows, music fashion and much more. I wish Yesterdayland came back.

Lets be thankful for the Internet Archive http://web.archive.org/web/20030330164355/http://yesterdayland.com/

Yeah, I'm a YL veteran. I started surfing that site sometime in 1999 and would post memories anonymously...I didn't want to bother with the registration process. It was not until late 2001 that I decided to finally sign up, because I wanted to post on their message boards. There are a few other people who came here from YL too, like Little Mel (we were pretty good friends over at YL). Somebody from here came to YL and posted a link to here, so that's how I signed up in 2002...After a while, I forgot I had registered here...so I just lurked around on the boards until 2003. YL went under on April Fool's Day 2003, so I came back again and started posting shortly therafter, just before I graduated from HS in May of 2003.

Did you ever post on the boards there?

Scary how many of us here are from YL. There was another poster, I don't think he comes here anymore but I think his name here was Rickenbacker. He was from YL as well.

I, too, was a member over at Yesterland. It was a great web site, had so many active members, so I was quite surprised that it was shut down. I was never sure about the exact reason it disbanded, however. I know many of the members there disbursed onto the many other nostalgia-based sites, this one included!
