And if you did are you still watching the show? Only asking because a lot of Friends fans I talk to say they don't like the show at all.

Why do you guy's care so much? Anyone can answer the question, even if it's not directly asked to them.

I watched it in the begining. Some of the episodes were funny but it didn't have a long term plot to keep me intrested. I considered going back to it but I watch to many other things on Thursdays.

I'm remaining faithful. The first season was "Joey" was extremely uneven (the first few episodes were good, then it quickly got very mediocre, before getting much, much better by the second half of the season) but season two has so far been a vast improvement.

I watch and enjoy "Joey." I think it's pretty funny, despite what has been said about the show.

I was a HUGE Friends fan, but I didn't follow Joey to LA. It just didn't capture my attention. Plus, I didn't think it was the same (of course) without those five other people. Although I do love Joey (the character.)

Joey never was my favorite character. I thought he was much better in the first seasons of Friends. In later seasons, he would do the same things over and over again. It was always about girls or food. It got pretty old. Also, is it just me or did Joey got dumber every season? At the beginning he was just dim-witted, but by the end he was really, really stupid. I see a parallel with Eric Matthews from Boy meets World here. In the beginning, Joey was more like Matt LeBlanc's previous character; Vinnie Verducci on Married with Children. Unfortunately, he altered in a caricature. In later seasons, the character didn't develop. Also, LeBlanc's acting later on was like a robot doing everything the same way. So that's why I never followed Joey to LA. I also can't imagine the group of Friends not being together. I imagine that Joey still is in New York with his friends, as the last episode shows. :)

I watched all of season one, but haven't seen two yet because Smallville is on Thursdays now. Why they like to put on everything I like on the same nights is beyond me. ohno:

Season two is my favorite, as it develops the relationship between Joey and Chandler very, very well. I always liked them living together. That's why I mark season 6 (Chandler moving in with Monica) as being the point from where the show went downhill.

Chandler is on season two? I have been missing out. I hope I can check some reruns.

Chandler hasn't been on Joey as of this time but there is a rumor he may soon gueststar which would be awesome I love Matthew!:eyes:

We seem to have a misunderstanding here. I meant season 2 of Friends, because I thought 'friendsfann' was referring to Friends. But now I'm reading it again, and it seems 'friendsfann' was referring to Joey. I thought it was pretty clear *I* was referring to season 2 of Friends though.

Joey is ok but it's very apparent that any single charachter from the friends ensemble can't really carry a show on their own. Well, that's not a fair statement. I think Chandler could carry his own, maybe Rachel but Joey is definately a character that was more supportive than leading. Not that Matt LeBlanc can't act but the character has been built up in a way that he's not that great on his own. The show is good but it shouldn't have been expected to fill the void that Friends left. It also shouldn't have gone up against heavy Thursday night competition.

Yeah, I thought that was obvious, especially after you started talking about season 6

I would have probably watched it but Smallville and O.C. were both on and I tape one and watch the other. I also had to drop survivor this season. O.C is moving to nine in January so I may watch it but I doubt all get in to it.

I've seen two episodes of season two during the rerun period of December (the Christmas episode and the episode where he goes on Ellen). It's not that bad at all. Too bad I missed most of it. It was a tough decision as Smallville has become one of my favorite primetime shows.

Fonzarelli, sorry about the misunderstanding. I didn't know at first you were talking about Friends.

It broke my heart to watch joey without the 6 others. besides the joey character is much better a sa supporting role than a star role. just my opinion.
