I picked up Season 2 of Sanford and Son and like it overall but wonder why the episode are out of sequence in which they originally aired. The first episode on the disc is "The Light Housekeeper" which aired in December 72. The first episode of the second season "By the Numbers" is the third episode on the disc. The third episode of the season "The Dowry" is number 7 on the disc. All other times I pick up TV series on DVD, they're always in proper sequence. What happened here? :confused:

Episodes on a DVD are usually shown in Production order instead of Airdate order. But there are times when the eps are in airdate order on a DVD like What's Happening. But most of the time the episodes are in production order.
