Here is a terrific new band from England called Tan-Hauser Gate. The only way to describe their sound is moody and etheral, with Pink Floyd and Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac) influences. The lead singer gives his warm vocals to this debut rock album. The lead guitarist showcases his chops giving the songs an emotional wallop.

England? What do you think this is, 1964? Seriously, will we ever get to hear this band? I mean, so many radio stations are adopting dance-pop and talk formats, how can any rock band, no matter where they're from, get exposure? :mad:

Well, they are getting gig after gig after gig over in London. Wonderful audience reviews, club owners are asking them to come back and now, they are headlining at various clubs over the next few months...into 2006. These guys are my friends and I wanna promote them any way I can. :)

I know that American radio bites, but if we start demanding great music, and reject the crap, MAYBE things can change in this country regarding radio/music. Sigh...please God.

BTW, did you check out the site and listen to the clips? If so, what did you like/dislike?
