anyone remember this show? It was a short-lived, animated series on (I think) ABC around 1968. It was a somewhat copy of "The Flinstones" but was set in "modern" times. All I remember is, the 2 husbands were football players on the same team and their coach was voiced by Allan Reed who voiced Fred Flintstone. Also, the neighbor was voiced by Mel Blanc, who voiced Barney Rubble on "The Flintstones" (exept for part of one season, when Barney was voiced by Daws Butler, who did Yogi Bear, because Mel Blanc was in a car accident-just a little "Flinstones" trivia for everyone!!! :talk: )
And Huddles (the "Fred" character) wife was voiced by Jean Vanderphyll who voiced Wilma Flinstone, and their daughter was voiced by the person who voiced Pebbles on "The Flinstones". Both shows were made by Hanna-Barbera. (a little more trivia. Hanna-Barbera also did the animated openings for "I Love Lucy" & "Bewitched")

Paul Lynde played one of the annoying neighbors. I remember the show being on when I was a kid in 1970.

The show wasn't on for very long. I think it was trying to capitalize on the popularity of Joe Nameth.

Bubba's wife Penny was voiced by Marie Wilson and providing the voice of the Rhinos play-by-play announcer was Dick Enberg, who was the radio voice of the Los Angeles Rams, before becoming one of the best NFL broadcasters with NBC and later CBS.
