I thought that would have been better. Have Frank come back and meet Florida and at the end, Him and Willona and Penny could have started a new life together. Anyone else think they would have been a good idea?

Of course. Somehow, I think the writers wanted (or maybe Ja'net wanted it) the character to be a "strong single woman" to show that a woman doesn't need a man in her life. I would have liked that ending myself. I said it before, and i will say it again, they should have had a two-parter episode, maybe even a three-parter showing the family leaving the projects.

I would have loved to see them actually leave the projects, and move into their high class apartments LOL. But I guess it would have cost too much money to build another set just for the last episode. Although they could have done what they did in JJ's Career and borrow another television show set for the day and tape the ending.

I don't think Frank should have came back, they only created him to make up some story lines for the 5th season.

They should've made him come back. They both declared their love for each other and nothing was ever resolved.

True. The only thing holding her back (the second time) was she wanted stability for Penny. She admitted if it wasn't for her daughter, she would jump at the chance. Yet, she didn't jump at that chance when she was just a single lady. Her excuse then, was Frank didn't want her to work. Hmmm...

What I didn't get, was when Frank told Willona that he was pulling out of the deal to buy the boutique. He said he finally understood that she needed to work to feel fulfilled. Why the hell did he not keep the boutique for her and let her be the boss? I wish Willona went off on him and called him a "Damn fool!"

Yeah, I know, that sure didn't make sense. It was alright to buy the boutique to get her not to work, but then got rid of it when he accepted the fact she loved her career? It would have been nice to have let her have it, but I guess it came with strings attached.

I may be the only one in the thread wondering, but who's Frank? Was he the guy Willona was seeing in a S5 ep?
