Did you know that NBC put out an animated version of "Punky Brewster"? Well,it's true!
The cast from the original 80's sitcom was animated. Here's a voice summary of the cast:

Punky Brewster: Soleil Moon Frye
Cherie Johnson: Cherie Johnson
Margo: Ami Foster
Glomer: Frank Welker
Henry: George Gaynes

The only one I don't have is Allen. Who did the voice of Allen? How many episodes did "It's Punky Brewster" run?

Casey Ellison was the voice of Allen. I dont know how many episodes there were but i believe it ran from 1985-1989.

I don't know if it was on Cartoon Network but I do remember when it was on in the eighties. I used to watch it all the time. I suddenly feel really old.

I vaguely remember an episode where Punky meets Snow White, anybody remember this? I think she was at a library and read about her or something. It could be my imagination, I was like 6 at the time!

It was never called "It's" Punky Brewster. I don't know who made that up.

The "It's" was used in print materials to distinguish the show from the live-action production.

What episodes of the cartoon do you think could have worked as an episode of the sitcom? It would've been kind of difficult since the cartoon series was less serious and emotional than the live-action series obviously. There was however, an episode called "Mother of the Year". The plot of the episode is that there is some mother / daughter event that Cherie and Margaux are involved, and Punky feels left out, but is suppressing those feelings.
