Does anyone remember back in the 90's when Michael Moore had a show airing opposite UM called "T.V. Nation"? Apparently, T.V. Nation received much critical acclaim, but UM consistently beat it in the ratings. In an effort to boost ratings, Michael Moore appeared ala Stack in a trench coak darkly lit w/ UM-like music in the background at the beginning of one of his shows. Moore also narrated the segments, in a deep voice, which I believe included reenactments and the disclaimer "what you are about to see is NOT a news broadcast." Imitation is indeed the sincerest form of flattery . . . and makes for amusing T.V. Put down that book, this is a T.V. Nation!
