Howdoulikemenow333 09-24-2005, 02:38 AM Does any body still like Rosie "o" Donnell? Just carious I used to like her when she had her tv talk, and she did a couple of decent movies in her days, but, now she has not done anything scince Riding The Bus With My Sister, which she did a fair job. She does not give out autograpes to adults just to children, I remember hearing her say that one time.
Courtnee 09-24-2005, 10:25 AM I don't really like her.
*Pleasant Tomorrow* 09-24-2005, 11:19 AM I've never had a problem with her. I don't know why so many people hate her so much...even though it is hilarious when Horatio Sanz plays her on SNL heh
Brian Damage 09-24-2005, 01:19 PM I am not a fan.
SBTB Geek 09-24-2005, 02:36 PM I liked her before she went El Pollo Loco on us.
PZelda 09-24-2005, 04:01 PM Yes, I've been a Rosie fan for almost 15 years. I won't hide my fandom. :D I LOVED her talk show and I really miss it. I watched her talk show all the time when it was on, and I would watch the reruns when my local WB affliate broadcast 'em.
Yes, you are correct in saying that Rosie didn't like giving autographs to adults but that was back in the day when she was doing her talk show. I got her autograph last year, and I'm not a kid anymore...People older than me have gotten autographs from her recently too. She appeared on Tony Danza's show twice last season and both times, Tony would set aside a LOT of time for her. They would pull out the bells and whistles...Play many rounds of ExtravaDanza, give out prizes to the audience, etc. and she is the reason why Tony started giving away free stuff to the audience. :D I always wanted to go to NYC to be in the audience on her talk show so that I would hopefully get a ROD Show denim jacket that she used to give away. But I'm going to NYC in March and getting tickets for Tony Danza's show beforehand so I can be in the audience on his show. :D
Janice 09-24-2005, 06:47 PM I can't stand the BIGmouth.
Dean Winchester 09-24-2005, 09:41 PM just curious, did everyone hate her before she became Psychodyke? Seems like everything changed after the Tom Selleck interview. Everyone seemed to like her before then, but after that interview, she really lost a lot of respect from people, and then it got out how badly she treated her co-workers and staff and suddenly everyone hated her.
I used to like Rosie, but lost interest. I did see one of her appearences on Queer As Folk a few months ago at a friends place and she wasn't too bad on it, but she's such a lousy person.
Dean Winchester 09-24-2005, 09:44 PM to me the entire Tom Selleck situation outted her to me before she was even out. Come on, I doubt there is one heterosexual woman Rosie's age who would talk to Tom like that... they'd be drooling because "oh my god, I loved you on Magnum P.I. and had your posters all over the wall!!" We probably would've seen a much different reaction had it been Farrah Fawcett and Rosie discussing gun control, lol.
PZelda 09-24-2005, 09:47 PM It's like with Michael Jackson. I was never a MJ fan to begin with (I don't listen to music), but there are still people out there who like him, despite all the bad stuff that has happened. There are still people out there that like Rosie, even after the bad things she has said.

actually, a lot of Michael Jackson fans believe the molestation stuff, etc.. is all just vicious rumors started by people who were jealous of his success. I have talked to MJ fans who really believe it is all a conspiracy theory to "get him" for selling so many albums.
rusyd 09-24-2005, 10:32 PM I used to be a fan, but after the Tom Selleck interview I lost alot of respect for her. The way she treated him on that show was terrible. I am for gun control and I was mad at the way she acted towards him.
Brian Damage 09-24-2005, 10:34 PM I never had a problem with Rosie until she started to go off her rocker. The final straw was when 9/11 happened and she packed her bags and moved to Miami. She use to brag and brag how she was a proud New Yorker, then she just packed up and bolted.
Dean Winchester 09-24-2005, 10:43 PM I swear, the past 5 years of Rosie's career has been one bad move after another. It is painfully obvious she really thought she was going to get an Emmy for "Riding The Bus With My Sister", which thankfully she didn't.
I liked the Sleepless In Seattle/A League Of Their Own Rosie best, before she really became overexposed and before she became a big-mouth. She was likable in both movies and people liked her then.
Janice 09-25-2005, 01:18 PM I never had a strong opinion on Rosie one way or the other until her interview with Tom Selleck. That was one mean-spirited display. She sandbagged him bigtime. That's no way for a talk show host to act towards a guest.
These days, she just gives me a headache. Blah, blah, blah, always bitching about one thing or another. It's one thing to be opinionated, but she's crossed the line into super obnoxious for me.
