I was really little when PB was on and I remember being TERRIFIED by that episode when they go fishing/camping and get stuck in that cave and they tell ghost stories...I think something about Princess Moonbeam...and Allen is a talking skelaton saying "Punky! Punky!" and that giant spider. Geez! I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it now!

Well I'm only 15 so I didn't get to see it when it first aired, but I have the
first two seasons on dvd & it's on season 2, & it looks like something that
would scare me to death but it never does.

Yeah, that was a real scary one for being aired at 7PM or so.

The only thing that really scares me and gives me endless nightmares is not seeing Season 3 and 4 of Punky on dvd... *shudders*
Does anybody else agree that despite being aimed at children for the most part, Punky Brewster was more than often (in general), a seriously dark (http://officialfan.proboards.com/thread/503738/hindsight-punky-brewster-ed-show) show? I'm kind of surprised that they were able to get away w/ some of the stuff that they did at the time.

I never thought of that. I remembered the only episode I saw from the show was when Punky had to fight a bully.
